TOTD for some reason made me think of the Carol Bayer Sager line"The Baker told me what you do with bread" (You're Moving Out Today)

I'm looking forward to seeing Mummy 3.  I really enjoy the Brendon F & John H interaction.  As it does not show here until September 11 and we leave here for London & France on Sept 10, I suspect it will be a DVD viewing of the film in the new year.

We just got back from using our four free passes to see the new Mummy movie.  It was worth every cent we didn't pay for it.  ;)

;D

It's been fun reading my friends' Facebook status lines in regards to the new "Mummy" movie.  Very entertaining.  Apparently, more entertaining than the movie itself.  ;)

Favorite fruit-related joke I've heard:

If you can't lose weight, just try to make the best of what you've got.  For example, if you've got cottage cheese thighs, exercise won't help anyway, so try putting a peach half next to them.

;D  We decided to wait to watch this one through NetFlix & see THE DARK NIGHT at the movie theater.  We would have gone to HELLBOY, if it were still an option.

DR Ginny, my condolences on the loss of your friend.  It sounds like a heartwarming service.

My favorite thing to do with fruit is to eat a peach and disturb the universe.

Hi DR Sandra.  Are you home or at work?

Are your latest words of wisdom from a conversation you overheard?

Hi DR Sandra.  Are you home or at work?

Are your latest words of wisdom from a conversation you overheard?

I am at home, eating two of my favorite fruits: chocolate and pizza.

The quote is from a couple of garage monkeys of my acquaintance, one of them stupider than the other.

I'd like to be eating pizza right now - and chocolate, but I shall be strong and refrain, oh, yes, I shall refrain.

MBarnum, I wish you had a photo of DC Freddy following you and DD Bosco.

We had a DC Bosco who followed DD Belle wherever she went, including outside.  It was very cute.  Our Bosco was a female Tortie & White.  Belle was an 80 pound Belgian Sheepdog.

It did lead off the news the other night, but since she wasn't hurt, it really didn't "stay" news.  :-\

Finished reading the latest issue of Video Watchdog, which just gets worse and worse.  Their DVD reviews are pages long and believe me the people writing them don't need to write that much copy.  They're almost unreadable now.  The glory days of this once wonderful magazine are, I'm afraid, gone, lost in the ego of its creator.

Hmm... Frozen grapes!  YUM!  And a good alternative to ice cubes in 7-up and/or Sprite.  Or a spritzer.

I've only had some cut up carrots today.  Almost no calories and certainly no fat.

Another interesting food factoid I read:  In order to work off the calories of one apple, one need only jog for three minutes.

She did break her hip.  It is an amazing story, lucky family.  Of course she should not have climbed up there in the first place, but then she is only 12.

And I've been very good about the two Diet Cokes a day - I haven't had over that in weeks - frankly, I never thought there would be a day when that would be the case.  I've been doing either one or two bottles of water a day, and the other day I got a six-pack of Canada Dry diet ginger ale, so on certain days I've had one of those and only one Diet Coke.

So, is the consensus that the new Mummy movie is a turd?  I didn't even like the first one all that much.

I really will have to eat soon, but I have no idea what I'm in the mood for.  I'm definitely eating something fun and good, and I may even go up to 1500 calories, just because I've been so at the 1000 range for so many days.

If I go sit at a restaurant (which is what I feel like doing), it will cost lots more than if I just get something at a fast food jernt or at the market.  But I haven't been to a restaurant in almost six days, so I may just do it.  Which restaurant is the issue.  I could have the chicken at La La's, but I'm not in the mood, really.  I could have the roast chicken at Stanley's - it's very good.  I could also have their yummilicious Chinese chicken salad, but that always leaves me hungry.

I loved the first Mummy movie, and enjoyed the second one very much.  The third one isn't receiving very good reviews.

Bruce, diet or not, I'm very pleased you aren't drinking so much Diet Coke.  Years ago I finally managed to control my Pepsi addiction & rarely drink any at all, a sip or two once a year.  Now, if I could only control my chocolate addiction.

Or, I could go to Art's and have my tri-salad plate, but it just annoys me that with a drink it's almost twenty bucks.  I don't mind spending the dough, but that seems particularly ridiculous, since the cost of the three tiny little scoops of chicken and egg salad must cost them all of about a buck.

What is the cost difference if you go to Art's and purchase three tiny scoops worth in containers to go?
