bk - Go to Art's and get it to go.  I bet ordering a 1/4-pound of each of those salads, would be much cheaper than ordering in at the table.

Chocolate & pizza, not chocolate pizza.:P

This is a Lean Cuisine deep dish margherita pizza and a Cadbury bar.

I am having a dilemma. I was given the September fashion issue of Elle Canada, which i really want to read. But it is filled with so much fragrance.

I hid it in the 2nd bathroom and thought i would just read it and then dump it. I tried to take out the ads that smelled. But it didn't work.

One funny thing is in the magazine there is a letter to the editor about the smelliness of the magazine. And the reply was that you can order non-scented versions of most mags.

Let me just say that while that is a small solution, i would guess that most sales are not subscription. So really it is not good enough.

This particular mag is absolutely the worst i have ever encountered.

I figure it will only take me 15 minutes to look through. So i'll probably stick it out.

:(

Sorry for the delay; I was diagramming a sentence.

I'm a little bored right now.

I like Margarita pizza, haven't had one in ages.  Now I'm in the mood for one.

DR Jennifer.  I would be on the phone complaining.  When I subscribe to a magazine I get a free issue for everyone that arrives scented.  Years ago I canceled all magazines that did not come unscented, and they were sure to know why.

I suggest a face mask while you read.

Want to join me for a long walk to my mailbox?

It's too hot to go outside. It's 108.

So I'm staying inside and driving my mother crazy by singing the same two lines of "Yummy, Yummy, Yummy, I Got Love in My Tummy" over and over again.

I decided to eat a piece of celery before I take my walk.  It is only 87 degrees here.

She says I sound like something from Star Wars. I'm thinking I should give up my dream of being a singer.

It's not a subscription, that was my point. :(

I will try the face thing.

It's probably not worth it, since my eyes are still burning and i looked at it 10 minutes ago.

But it's just the point. I don't want to waste it and i really do want to read it.

I wonder if regular people enjoy it.

There must be some who aren't allergic but just don't like being attacked by 5 different scents.

And even those who love scents, i would think, would rather open something up to get the different scents vs being able to smell them just be opening the magazine!

She is talking in Esperanto. And THAT is what sounds like she is from Star Wars.

3 DVDs later, I watched two complete and 15 minutes of the third. At that point i knew it was going to be a waste.

I think i'll have some chowder.

The Lean Cuisine pizzas are actually pretty tasty, low in calories and fat grams--I like the roasted vegetable one best.

I don't like a lot of toppings on my pizza because I find that they take the focus away from the chocolate.

;D  I get it.  If no one complains they will continue to leave the scents in there as this was.  Even when they are sealed I can't read the magazine without some discomfort.

DR Ginny, my condolences on the loss of your friend.  It sounds like a heartwarming service.

Thank you, DR Jane.  He was not a close personal friend, but someone who profoundly influenced our community and the lives of 3 generations of our extended family.  Truly one of the good guys.

Here is the photo of the fox I attempted to post yesterday.  Hopefully it won't put us in wide screen.  Let me know if it does.
