OK,. I'm in love with my Blackberry.  I didn't get one in the past because I didn't want to spend the money on one. Well, I was at my "new every two" and online it said I couild get one free. So I went to the store and when they wanted to charge me for it, I said "Ok, I'll go home and order it online"  they said "No, wait!" and gave me a Blackberry Curve free!

They also looked at my usage over the past 3 months and we were able to cut back on my minites so that there will only be a minimal increase for the internet access.  So,. now when the cable goes out or I'm somewhere without internet I can just use my Blackberry for the internet or as a modem.  Cool beans!  As gadget oriented as I am I'm shocked it took me this long to catch on to this.

Thanks DR Laura.

DR Cilla, great deal on the Blackberry.  When we receive email from a Blackberry it lets us know.

Well, I ended up eating a nice big meal - I really needed to do that today, and I feel I'm good to do that once a week, just as I did when I had my big meal at FJL and Skip's last week.  Even though I said I wouldn't be going back, I knew I could get right into Hugo's and I had a hankerin' for Papa's Eggs.  Unfortunately, Papa's Eggs is not an option anymore for dinner, so instead I had Pasta Papa, which is Papa's Eggs over spaghetti.  It was very filling, but I felt okay because there's nothing on the pasta - no oil or butter or anything, just the scrambled eggs with a little bit of sausage and bacon.  It felt nice to eat a decent-sized mean (it was about six ounces of pasta, it seemed to me) and while I'm quite full now, it was just what I needed.  Then, tomorrow I'll be back to under 1200 calories for a few days.

How appropriate for DR Cillaliz to get a Blackberry on a day we're discussing fruit.  Now, if only DR Singdaw had gotten an Apple.  Just kidding - congratulations to both DRs on their new gadgets!

Is rhubarb and fruit or a vegetable?  I like mine with strawberries mixed in and whipped cream on top.

I don't believe he chose a Mac, Nursie! Or am I wrong.

I love SORDID LIVES; I haven't seen such white trash behavior since one of our family reunions in Fallsburg, Kentucky, in the mid-1960's.  Del Shore juggles single, double and triple entendres and soap operatics quite well.

I decided not to go "Mac," for the time being.  Not that I didn't want to, but I have too many legacy programs which I don't think are compatible.  But some day!

No Mac, right?

This is one of the merges I did for the lobby display....Ric is the director and Shelly his wife is the costumer, nice people.

Ric's grandmother and mother are in the picture beside him, and Shelly's grandmother is in the picture beside her.

The program distorted perspective a bit, but it's still fun.  I ended up with six of them, and ONE photo of a man and his wife dressed as gangsters at a casino.  ;D

I combined them with a postcard from Grauman's Chinese Theater and about eight small color photos of silent stars.  8)

I had a great play date with Homer. We spent an hour in the dog run although he doesn't play much with the other dogs. He likes to hang around people (meaning me) so I gave him a couple of treats and scratched him and threw a ball and we walked around outside the dog run. I was going to go earlier but there was rain in Manhattan so I waited till it was over.

Earlier in the morning before I went to visit Homer I went to K-Mart and took the plunge. I now have my own cell phone. Anthony has his in Chicago/Wisconsin and I have mine here in New York. It's a pay as you go like Anthony's and I won't use it much, though I will take it with me to Minneapolis on Thursday and then again when I go to Wisconsin at the end of the month. I've charged it, activated it (and they were having a promotion at the Web site when I activated so I got some extra time and minutes) and put some names in the phone book. It's got a camera and you can go on-line if you so choose but that's not why I bought the phone so those features will be unused most likely.

So it's been a productive electronics day for Cil, Sing and Me!
