I love Marc Acito! He owes me a letter.

Marc owes me a letter, too.  He just doesn't know me yet!  ;)

DR MBARNUM did I hear you say you are a Dack Rambo fan?

I can't watch foreign movies without subtitles either....I keep thinking I am missing something....and when I see titles about shoe bites and repairing wives, I KNOW I am missing something.

Well if he's gonna write, he might as well send me a letter, too.

So much of working in the theater distorts perspective, if you were to ask me.

JRand, I don't dislike Dack Rambo or anything, but I am not what you would call a fan. I think I only saw him on that one night time soap he did in the 80s.

Congratulations to DRs Cillaliz and Ben on your new toys!

And thanks everyone else for your comments.  Still working through set up.  Until completed, I'll still be posting from ye olde laptop - and thank goodness for it!   :)

Speaking of shoe bites and subtitles it is time for me to watch a Bollywood movie...tonight's flick is CALL GIRL (1974) starring Vikram, Zahirra, Iftighar, Helen, and a lot of other people with just one name.

I think it might be about one of those Indian call centers...or maybe it is about a telephone operator...who knows. I do know it is likely to have some swell song and dance numbers and some screwy subtitles.

We shall see.

Well it's always nice to have the view from the inside, so to speak.  :D

At the end of day today, while I was trying to reconcile the $$$.....I was short $50!!!  Couldn't figure it out.  Aleshia and I counted and recounted the money and I ran the program twice....still short by $50.  I counted the next day's drawer again.....and I was frazzled.

As I sat at the desk in the office, Aleshia finally said:  "Well, there was a Visa charge that I might have accidentally rang up in the register as a cash sale...maybe."

Yes, she did....a Visa Charge for $49.12 was rung up as a cash sale....so my Visa total was short and my cash total was long....

I did not say what I wanted to say....but I did THINK IT!

For your Saturday night entertainment - two Oscar winning performers at the height of their fame and a funny and perfectly staged, costumed, and photographed song and dance number.  Great set design and orchestration....I LOVE THIS SONG!

That tall girl in the back in the copper colored dress with cape sleeves is Julie Newmeyer...and at the piano, the lyricist of the song Leo Robin.

So much of working with wisdom distorts one's perspective as well.

Ditto working with Visas.

I feel like the mother in Butterflies are Free, the epigrams are flying so fast.

I still say Donny Osmond is groovy.

He is certainly the best (and only worthy thing) in the recently released COLLEGE ROAD TRIP.

Well since we can't have Debbie - here are Annette and Millicent Martin....about halfway through the clip, John Fraser (with EL CID) in his future, displays the attitude of a lot of people in the audience - if not at the party.
