Had a interview today at Genesis Financial Solutions here in Beaverton...went pretty well and I knew one of the ladies that interviewed me from a previous job.  I hope that's good! :)

Did you go down to the bottom of the ocean and actuall see it ? Wow. I'm jealous, but I think I would be claustraphobic in that thing.  I have seen the Titanic Exhibition.  It was very cool

Unfortunately no.  The other day I was thinking about that, and I doubt I would fit thru the hatch now.  We were out there with the team from RMS Titanic and a crew from the Discovery Channel.  They were attempting to raise the section of the hull (that is now on tour), but the efforts were cut short by two hurricanes that were closing in on us.  The piece was about 200 ft. from the surface when the lines snapped.

There was as time when I would have said "The Sting".  That was before I tired of it.

For now I'll say "Star Wars" and "The Magnificent Seven"

And this particular seller hasn't had any problem paying you on time??

Nope - he's a fast pay.  Got the second dealer order, which was indeed for 100, so that's basically 350 gone out of the 1000.

I'm just astounded reading the rationalizations of a young theatre-goer over at All That Chat who feels there is nothing at all wrong with singing along with the performers [from the audience] at a musical.
I wonder if a well-aimed water pistol would shut these guys up.

Unfortunately, my aim is terrible.  And I might not get my water pistol back.

(What, you thought I was just going to shoot water at them?)

I've a breast of turkey roasting in the oven, but it'll take quite a while to send some your way.  Sorry.

Actually I wish I was back at the Titanic site in the North Atlantic.  It was twelve years ago this month that I traveled to the ship's grave.

Of course, right now I'm very partial to this title song:

The smell of perfume everywhere
Could it be love or could it be

Good Evening!

Yes!  "The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor" was a big ole thrill ride.  A true "popcorn movie" - emphasis on the "corn".  :)

TOD:

"Theme from The Molly Maguires".  (Not impressed with the film, but I love Mancini's music.)

The "Flying" theme from ET.  (Yep, Williams gets to me, too.)
