Did you know that I actually did play Charlie Brown??  About six and a half years ago, after I had lost a whole bunch of weight, :D but I've since gained most (but not all) of it back. :-\

I got three Disney Blu-rays in the mail today: NIXON and the Miley Cyrus concert film (which I have been expecting for days) and SMART PEOPLE (which I had forgotten was coming out on Blu-ray). Since SMART PEOPLE comes out on the 12th, I'll have to do that disc tomorrow. I had wanted to get started on NIXON, but that disc doesn't come out until the 19th.

I spent most of the afternoon with DEXTER, disc 3. I watched four more episodes, all mesmerizing. But HD sure spoils you. Watching these on sDVD after having seen them in HD on Showtime is something of a trial since some scenes are very sharp and others rather soft and undefined.

I did have time to skim through today's AS THE WORLD TURNS. Luke was in one scene (split into two pieces) but that was very early in the broadcast and then nothing. Not in the previews for tomorrow.

I flipped on MOJO-HD and saw they were showing BONNIE AND CLYDE, and it did look fabulous. I have never owned this on any home video format, and I know Warners released the HD some months back. I'll check out what they're charging for it, and if it's reasonable, I'll bite. It's a great movie, of course, but I don't ever remember it looking this good.

One of our departmental secretaries volunteered to clean out the refrigerator that we all share.  It's pretty near my desk and she's been bringing specimens to me, saying, "What do you think this used to be?"  People can be such pigs sometimes and Sherry is a real trouper to do this awful job.

George, I had to clear my cache and history before it would show up - did you try that?  It's definitely there, because orders have  been coming in all morning.  One person, undoubtedly an eBay speculator, just ordered twenty copies.
