George - And you may recall that I actually did play Lucy (in a camp production)

I know!  That was the point! ;D

I wouldn't even be opening the containers, Ginny.

Neither would I, Laura, especially since she sent out a warning email earlier in the week.

Had a very nice lunch at Mel's Diner with former dear reader Hisaka.  She's doing fine, working, and living in Woodland Hills.  I had a BLTA, which was very good.

There are so many bad casting choices from DRs where I have no idea whatsoever who the people are.  I guess that is because I watch so little TV and have never watched an "Idol" type show.

I'm glad you don't work in a doctor's office....

I have, DR Ron, worked in a pediatrician's office and I'm glad I don't, too.

George, I had to clear my cache and history before it would show up - did you try that?  It's definitely there, because orders have  been coming in all morning.  One person, undoubtedly an eBay speculator, just ordered twenty copies.

I did clear out my cache and history and I completely closed all browsers, but it still had the same problem...at "www.kritzerland.com" there was no "Scent of Mystery."  At "http://www.kritzerland.com/home.html" (with the "/home.html" as part of the URL), there it is.  VERY strange.

Maybe when I get Microsoft Vista here at work (hopefully, today...if not, then next week), it'll work.

Almost time to hobble over to my car and go home to a taco dinner.

Bye for now!

I personally am not into calorie counting at all. I think it's more important to eat healthier foods. And to eat at least 3 times a day.

It doesn't matter what you count, if you consume more calories than you burn up - you gain; eat less calories than you burn up, you lose. "Healthy foods" have little to do with wain gain/loss - a high calorie "health diet" will add pounds and a low calorie "unhealthy" diet will lose pounds.

How did she explain that "unwed mothers" anomaly, then?     :)

In the moral days of yore, there were no "unwed mothers" - women with "difficulties" were whisked out of public view until the "problem" was "resolved".

der Brucer

When I was at the Naval Academy a fellow midshipman got his girl "in that way" - he refused to marry her (he would have been booted out had he done so) and her family (Texas) threw her out. We got her a plane ticket to DC and my future Mother-In-Law picked her up at the airport, put a wedding ring on her finger, and took her home to stay (and arranged for the baby's private adoption). Even after graduation the louse of a mid refused to have anything to do with her. Things worked out for the girl - she went back to Texas, married a soon-to-be successful Oklahoma business man and moved to Oklahoma city and raised a lovely family.

I have the season finale episode left on DEXTER, and then I'll get to the bonus features.

I've enjoyed watching the CBS-HD version - would I gain much by buying and watching the DVD set?

Oh, I love my Ginny child
You got the way to make me happy
You and me, we go in style
Hobblin' Ginny, you're a store-bought woman
You make me sing like a guitar hummin'
So hang on to me, girl
Our song keeps runnin' on

DR Jose joined me for another round of JOURNEY TO THE CENTER OF THE EARTH and it was nice to have his company.  We have another date on Sunday to see Skip's oneact musical.

My dance card is full this month:
      Skip on Sunday
Donna Lynne Champlin's act on Monday night
Fringe Festival on Friday and there are a couple of other shows in the Festival that I want to catch

Back to Lady of the Slipper, although I would rather have gone for a margarita with my movie companion.

I've been getting a volley of e-mails from an online dealer - I think he's going to take fifty or more of Scent Of Mystery - I'm hoping he does so in the next few minutes, just because that would be GRAND!

Who knows how fast the last 400 will go, but it's very heartening to have a good day like this.  I just wish I could get to the dealer money faster, but I should have discs in a couple of weeks, and payment right after that.

Good morning, all! Back to Lady of the Slipper. The primary question is, are my NYPL notes here or at Toyland?

Little else is going on today. At 4:30, I'm going to see JOURNEY TO THE CENTER OF THE EARTH in 3-D before it vanishes. I'm also wondering why it's taking a certain singer two months to pay me for my work!

If the singer is Cheyenne Jackson, take it out in trade.  Hmm, perhaps Brendan Fraser needs some orchestrations done!
