That would technically be Alma Schindler Mahler Gropious Werfel, but who's counting?

All together now:

Alma, tell us
All modern women are jealous
You should have a statue in bronze
For bagging Gustav and Walter and Franz!

(one of my favorite Tom Lehrer songs, whose sheet music is shamefully not included in the published collection)

Then which or whose copy have I been reading off of all these years? Hmm...

A.M. is getting more difficult.  I'm "searching" more than I'm thinking of someone new.

What collection do you have? Is there another published collection besides Too many songs by...?

Edi: Sorry to have missed your original post, but, then again, we can never have too many Tom Lehrer singalongs, can we? (okay, maybe it's just me...)

McNally and Kennon's lovely melodies and deft lyrics make the enterprise decidedly appealing

How sporting of Mr. McNally to help Skip out with the melodies and lyrics!      :-\

Oh, and I'm back from a jog - much easier today, and when I got to the four mile mark I just kept going all the way home for a total of four-and-a-half miles.

Live and learn... the only collections I ever found (both of which I have, natch) are the aforementioned Too Many Songs and a slim 1950s-era hardcover called The Tom Lehrer Songbook. Neither include such crucial numbers as "Alma," "Oedipus Rex," "Whatever Became of Hubert," or "Lobachevsky" (actually, "Too Many Songs" includes the lyrics for "Lobachevsky," but suggests that, as the original arrangement would take too much space, the prospective performer do as the protagonist suggests and steal it off of the recording).

Would you recall the title of this collection?

Not sure what you mean.  He means McNally on the one hand and "Kennon's lovely melodies and lyrics" on the other hand.   Not sure how else he could have written the sentence without loading it with commas.

Was this one not put into the list?  I'm pretty sure macchus would have done it last night.  Is it MIA - are others MIA?

And on one did Alyssa Milano?
