Now you tell me, DR JMK.

DR JOSE - I was just afraid a printer with ink cartridges that had to be replaced and replaced and REPLACED would be too troublesome.  So I did buy a nice $85 system with Light Scribe.  You do have to buy special disks, and it takes some time, and as DR JMK says the printing is VERY LIGHT - but I have it and it works.

DR JRand - I guess it all depends how many CDs and DVDs you burn and label on a regular basis, and it sounds like you're quite "regular" in that regard.  ;)

Hmmmm....the Amazon.com link for the Walt Disney Treasures, the Mickey Mouse Club presents Annette - isn't working.  You get taken to a Donald Duck DVD, and I can't find it with a search.  Even when I click the link from my Pre Order page, I get Donald Duck.....strange............

True, but I won't need to LABEL each of them.  I got it especially for when I make special CD's of Photographs from a Show or collections for friends of WOW....  8)

I was SO delighted to finish my PRESIDENTS box set. Enjoyed all of them, but I've had enough history to last a few months! Thankfully, the two bonuses on the Bush DVD weren't very long. One was 15 minutes and the other lasted about 2. The last one showed him parachuting at age 83. Good lord!

Another question for ASK BK day....since we are on the subject of time travel.

Which "star of the day" - do you think could come through the time machine to right now - and have talent enough to still be a star today?

When Taylor was trying to get back into the machine and they were all over him, I was almost nauseous in my seat from fear. I remember vividly to this day screaming when he went into the future and that knocked out Morlock started decomposing.

DONNY OSMOND  AHHHHHHHH!!!!!!

That's what we used to do in 4th grade, yell DONNY OSMOND and then scream.  I really don't know why. It isn't like he was there or anything. It was just something we did.

I dont mind Donny, I just could not get into him when I was a kid....

I am more of a Jon Bon Jovi, Elton John, Micheal Buble fan...

Bk mentioned soap actors.... I am intrigued.

Judy for sure and Tyrone Power, I think. Also Monty Clift would be doing the stuff Sean Penn gets now.

What is his name?

TCB, his name is Abhishek Bachchan. His father was a top star in the 70s and 80s.

Abhishek has made some really good films.

The other girls were big fans of David Cassidy. I had to hide my love for Donny Osmond.

I was relatively on the young side when they were big. I only saw David Cassidy in reruns and thought he was okay.

By the time I was into the pre-teen crushes on stars they were out of the scene. I do remember Shaun Cassidy was big.

Disco was going and Abba was big...

Then it was the 80s....

Next, I watched THE LOCKED DOOR (or was it THE LOCKED ROOM). Anyway, a very stagy film and everyone self conscious about the microphones and "acting." But nice to finally see and hear Rod La Rocque. No question about his being a member of the committee.

::::: hangs head in shame ::::

My childhood [pre-teen and early teen years] crushes were on Henry Winkler, John STamos, Patrick Swayze, and Lane Davies.....

this was before I discovered Matt Ashford, Harrison Ford and other actors...

Then I watched PROJECT RUNWAY. I did love the winner's outfit and agreed with the decision. (I didn't like the kimono). I also agreed that it was time for the loser to go.

And weren't those "girls" surprising as men? Great to see them both ways.

Unless I get the Blu-ray of THE NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS, I guess tomorrow I'll be watching (for the first time) Passolini's SALO. I can't say that I'm looking forward to it. His movies of the 1970s seemed to push the perversity button just for the sake of being outrageous, and from everything I've ever read about this, his last film, it's no different.
