So, do you want to be rubbed down with the velvet glove while you're in the whirlpool bath?  How unseemly!

DR td - Were all the beets the classic "red" beets? or did you get some orange, yellow and/or candy-cane one in there too?

Preferably not the same glove used while you were peeling all those beets!

My pseudo-sister and her husband peeled the beets with Mum; I was in charge of all the boiling and jarring. . .
There are quite a few "pings" coming from the kitchen now. . .

I had a good one and was just going to double check the spelling, but could not get on the Internet.  That was thirty minutes ago.  I've been on the phone with Time Warner ever since - it's working now, but not via the wireless.  I'm plugged directly in now.  I'll leave it this way until tomorrow morning when I can call Apple.  I had this once before when the cable modem lost signal and they reset it and then the computer wouldn't recognize the signal.  VERY annoying, and, of course, I have completely forgotten the name of the person I was going to do.

Did I mention that I probably have a pinched nerve in my lower back. . .it's been unseemly for the past few days. . .but, I still take Dixie Bell for her runs, which might be complicating the discomfort.

bk - Before you call Apple... Have you tried the two usual, easy fixes?

1) Click on the "Airport Signal Strength" icon on the top right of your screen.   Turn AirPort Off.  Wait a few seconds.  Turn AirPort On. -And reselect your home network if necessary.

2) Unplug your modem and your wireless router - either from the wall, or just pull out the A/C adapters.  Wait a few seconds.  Plug both the modem and router back in.  Check to see if your home network pops back up again in the AirPort drop-down menu.

If #2 doesn't work, then call Apple.

*And have you already tried shutting down your computer and restarting it?

Which, of course, means that suggesting that you send me the name, so that I could do the checking, is totally out of the question.

One for the road:
"Sticks" Mandalay----"Happy Days"' only attempt(three episodes) to have a black character.  He was a drummer in their band.  a decent idea, very poorly executed.
