Back from a very long but very nice and good meeting.  Much was discussed and Mr. Joel Grey stopped by our little table to say hello, which was fun.

Hmmm, I wonder if Mr. Grey knew he was being discussed at the lunch table DH Richard and I shared today with DR Ben?

And since I'm done for the day, I believe I am going to stop by St. Luke's since it is on the way home.

Laters...

Oh good, I was hoping you would be able to. :)

Now, I'm going to write for a bit and then head back down to join Perry and Della in court.

Picked up a small package from the mail place.  None of the Kritzerland big order invoice checks have made an appearance yet, which is irksome.

Best of wishes for DR Elmore.

I hope that it was not a consequence of spending time with two of the sweetest people in New York  - DRs Jose & Ben.

I would have suggested any of Eartha Kitt's songs as Song of the Day.
Or perhaps Dinah Washington's "This Bitter Earth"

"This bit o' earth" was I think the remake of "God's Little Acre"

I've tended to send PM's to people who are "Down" or Physically unwell. It's really just not the Australian way to be "public" with such things.

I do know however that vibes do work!

My advisors tell me that I should "talk" about issues rather than to internalise which I usually do!

So!  As some DRs already know, cancer cells have once again been detected in my recent blood tests.  I'll be away in France for a month or so after Sept 10th and shall hopefully be concentrating  on enjoying life.

Thank you to the HHW who have already been supportive in helping me cope with this new battle.

I had a lovely card from DR SpongeBag yesterday which prompted this revelation!

Today I shall be visiting my "birth" Mother who was 84 yesterday. She lives not that far from my Father. (They divorced about 30 years ago). I may call in and see my Father too. At least if I tell him my news it won't worry him as he will forget within a few minutes.

I've been listening to Nancy La Mott's "Ask Me Again".

Somehow, I think "SpongeBath" sounds more appealing than "SpongeBag," but maybe that's just me.     :P

In any case, DR Tomovoz, and DR elmore3003, and DR Ginny, and DR TCB, and DR Jane, and a host of other DRs -
as DR Ron Pulliam said, we are behind you, every step of the way, with whatever support can be of assistance.  Even positive thoughts!

On a much, much "lighter" note....

How do you feel about BubbleBag?

Oh my god...I go away for a couple of hours and come back to such serious stuff.

Dear Tomovoz---I had no idea you were battling the big evil "C". I will be sending you vibes every single day!

And Dear Larry---I will be thinking of you and hoping for the best diagnosis possible.

Thank you, Jose for watching over our dear friend!

Good Evening!

Greetings from the ER! Where I am currently sitting at the foot of DR elmore's bed.

I'll let him post the details later, but the short version is that Larry gets to go home tonight. He does not have to be admitted. :)

*And even the doctor was a bit surprised by DR elmore's self-non-diagnosis. And he had nice green eyes too. ;)

and to answer Ron's question - VERY early so no treatment yet until I think about December at the earliest.

I guess that it is good news that a scan would not show up anything at the moment!

I may be back on line before closing time.

Special thoughts my friend DR Elmore.  LOOK AFTER YOURSELF or we shall take up a collection and send in Lady McBeth or DR MBarnum as your carer!
