DR Jose, considering the circumstances I'm sure glad DR elmore isn't continually watching you eat an ice cream cone.  ;)

What is the plan when you leave?  Will you stop for dinner?  Just what can he eat tonight?

As a side note, I have the Democratic Convention playing in the background.  I am getting really tired of every speaker at the convention who is from a state west of the Rockies (particularly Colorado speakers), sounding like they just stepped out of a Western movie.

Representative Mark Udall may be a fine congressman, but I seriously doubt he has ever faced down any gunslingers while coming out of Miss Kitty's Saloon.

We're just waiting for instructions from the nurse and Dr. Green Eyes. ;)

DR TCB - Trust me, I definitely know how to whistle. And how to make someone whistle too.

OK - I need to save what's left of my iPhone battery, so...

But DR elmore should be back home sooner rather than later.

What exactly is the point of the convention? I know they have to nominate their candidate, but what what other business is going on that they need several days for a convention?

DR Jennifer, the only thing I disliked about Ollie was who he aligned himself with. He seems like a nice guy...I don't think he is playing a very good game, and I had no doubt that he and Michelle would not keep their word with Dan.

i don't like when they mis-represent people.

They didn't show ollie saying he would back out of his deal with dan.
But they also did not show the vulgar/homophobic things he said to memphis.

After the backyard rant (which they show on tonight's show) ollie actually said (and i saw this myself on youtube), "you fa#got, suck my d@ck"  (g and i are the missing letters).

Memphis is not even gay. But that's not the point. People should not say things like that. Memphis was mad!

If they aren't going to vote I don't see much need for it.  Why they do it is another story. ;D

My goodness! Talk about a play-by-play report, DR Jose posting from the foot of DR Elmore's bed!

I'm glad to hear that Larry is doing better. Vibes that that continues.

Where's JRand? What the hell has Uranus been up to to cause all this strife? How about some favorable planetary positions, Jack? Huh? Think it can be arranged?

Good Evening!

I'm home.  DR elmore is home.  And now I'm watching Obama, and eating some food... And since I had not had anything to eat for the past six hours, well... talk about low blood sugar.

DR Jose, maybe I should stub my toe or something next time I am in NY, huh? Or would it have to be something more serious like losing a limb?

Or I could shoot you or throw you under a bus?

I'm home! Very tired but happy to be here and I stopped at Barnes and Noble and pick up my own personal copy of

And a big thank you to DR Jose, the best friend anyone could wish for. I really appreciated his staying with me. It helped the time pass quite nicely.

Aw, shucks, Larry.  <blush>

And I enjoyed your company (once again) too - even if it was in an ER!

Oh... and don't forget these fine and happy people who helped the time pass...

DR Elmore - good news that you're home and tackling your new challenge with books and a sense of humor!  We stayed in touch with DR Jose before the Summer Shorts 2 curtain.  We checked for messages during intermission and figured that no news was good news.  DR Jose truly performed a mission of mercy tonight and I'm glad you had someone there with you.

I don't suppose they will feed you dinner in the ER. ;)

I doubt it, DR Jane.  One time when I had to take DH Richard to the ER at 2am, no one brought either one of us even a glass of water until about 7am.  Then, it was a physician who thought of it.
