DR Kerry took me to see Steve and Edyie once. I gotta say, Steve has still got it.

Eydie did too.  They were fantastic!

Well, DR Jane, the way the game is going at the half makes me think I should have gone to church and prayed - HARD!

Well, since I haven't done any cleaning yet, I guess it's time for me to head out for dinner.

Those Krispy Kreame Cheddar Bacon Cheesburgers look disgusting.

An understatement :P

Gag. That would only look good if I were pregnant.

Goodness, I would have lost it for sure.

Thanks, DRs JoseSPiano and Ginny and DH Richard for a delightful eating and walking and talking tour!   :)

Thanks, also, DR JoseSPiano, for the photo documentation.

THE ENABLER does indeed strike again!!!

Jose - Any word on ACE at the signature?   I'm planning to see it while I'm in D.C. next weekend.

Is anyone else seeing a weird split screen in the "quick reply" box at the bottom of their HHW screen?

Back from errands and a visit to the dealer rooms at Cinecon.  But first, let me add myself to those who find those Krispy Kreme egg sandwiches gross-looking beyond belief.  Krispy Kreme is so yesterday anyway - aren't most of them out of business?

It's just you -- you are ill at the thought of those Krispy Kreme bacon monstrosities.

The Cinecon dealer rooms were quite devoid of buyers - just a handful of people wandering around.  I did see a couple of dealer pals, and bought a couple of really cheap DVDs and three weekly Varietys from 1969 - one of the headlines was particularly funny to me

BIG QUIZ: WHEN WILL SEX PIX END?

This in 1969, two years before actual porno hit theaters.

One of the cheap DVDs I bought was a home-grown DVD of The First Farewell Jack Benny Show, which I'm very anxious to see.  I also got a Spanish import of Five Fingers with James Mason and a score by Herrmann, and not available in the States.  And the Criterion Naked Prey - for fifteen bucks, which is about sixty percent less than its asking price.

PROJECT RUNWAY POSSIBLE SPOILER

What is the point of an outfit that a model can't sit down in?  Is there any practical value in such an outfit that is not wearable in real life?

After Cinecon, since I was right there, I stopped in at the adjacent California Pizza Kitchen and had a roasted garlic chicken pizza - very filling, very good, and, I think with the four-mile jog, just fine for my meal o' the day.

I may go back to Cinecon briefly tomorrow because one of the dealers wanted to get some Scent Of Mystery CDs.

And I still can't believe that I forgot my camera yesterday. I could have taken a picture of exactly where Doris peed.

Doris Day?

No, Wee Baby Doris  (my angelic neurotic brilliant stubborn Basset Hound--- can't imagine how she'd get so neurotic with me raising her since she was a puppy   ::).  But it was during the day that Doris peed there if that helps you.

Listening to William Alwyn's score to Shake Hands With The Devil, and then I think I'll check out this Jack Benny special.
