Cadenza.  Wasn't she a character in Maury Yeston's TITANIC?

Anyone have a recording of Kander and Ebb's song "Pain"?

I've got it on videotape when I appeared in Kander and Ebb's AND THE WORLD GOES 'ROUND. Not audio recordings, alas.

I guess I need to hop off line now and start doing some preliminary writing on MEDIUM. Then, it's back downstairs for more of it and tonight's prime time line-up.

DR MattH - I have one of those!!!  Duh!  Not your recording, but one of another production. What I'm doing is putting together an Addendum CD to the OCR.  Now, where did I put it....  :P

I have been expecting the Blu-ray (a bk notes reference) edition of GREY'A ANATOMY for the last few days, and it still hasn't come. I did get a Danny McBride kung fu parody movie today, but no Blu-rays.

Alas.

Our host's notes had the comment!

Ah, yes.  I recall that now.  It could have been very unsettling...if there were anyone to "be" unsettled.

I did watch the press reels from THE BOY FROM OZ last night, does that count as seeing the wizard?

After Hugh, who could I watch but Olivia Newton-John in her concert from the Sydney Opera House.  Between some of the songs, ONJ takes a tour of Sydney and its environs.  I've always loved the sound of Manly Beach.

I don't even remember being "Wicked".

Thank you for the news about the "ACL" documentary.

Leaves of Grass: A Nude Choral Reading of Whitman's Iconic Song of Myself

SYNPOSIS:

A daring new interpretation of Walt Whitman's most groundbreaking poem, 'Song of Myself', as realized by a chorus of 25 diverse and fully nude performers.

What will they think of next??

Hopefully, grass skirts!

I had a Subway turkey sandwich for lunch.  It was okay.  The good news is it's only 560 calories, so I can definitely have something else later.

I'm just puttering around now until rehearsal, although I have to go back to the mail place - I picked up some mail and one package, only to find out that another package was there that they neglected to give me.  When I called, they denied having another package until I told them who signed for it, the exact time it was signed for, and which carrier delivered it.  Then they suddenly found it.

Poor, poor Mikey!

My testing kit arrived and I still don't understand the booklet!

Well, I suggested for you to get a "free" One Touch monitor from the endocrinologist which you did not go to, where they could give you the machine (for free) and show you how to use it....except that you didn't go.

Instead you went to the general practice doctor that you think is no good.

PS: With your current diabetes situation it really is imperative that you begin to go to a specialist.

But don't let me tell you what to do

I can do nothing without a referral from my HMO "caretaker" (funny, right?), so stop bitching about an endocrinologist I have no referral to visit. I'm not happy about this, but that's the state of HIP art. Dammit!
