DR Druxy,
I noticed that you are responsible for bringing Roger Corman to the next Ray Court's show? How wonderful! Perhaps I missed it, but do you still work as a publicist?
Also, you had mentioned Diana Darrin was one of your first, who were some of the others that you represented back in the day? I am most curious!
I haven't worked as a publicist for 15-20 years. I decided that I just wanted to write, and working almost exclusively for Mr. Corman gave me a very nice living for many years.
Frankly, I go to these autograph shows with former clients (Steve Kanaly, Michael Ansara, Diane McBain, Bridget Hanley, the late Dan O'Herlihy) and friends because writing is a lonely business and this activity let's me get "back in the action," so to speak. It also gives me the opportunity to see old friends who I haven't seen in years.
Other clients?
The list is SOOO long. In no particular order: Christine Lahti, Barbara Hershey, John Williams, Ernest Gold, Henry Darrow, Paul Francis Webster and Sammy Fain, Abe Vigoda, Pat Harrington, Maurice Jarre, Gale Gordon, Jack Carter, Jessica Walter, Conchata Ferrell, John Russell, Edward Dmytryk, Howard Keel, Kathryn Grayson, George Sherman, etc., etc.
