Well, you're read the notes, the notes ran on, and now it is time for you to post until the run-on cows come home.

Sunday morning greetings!  In an hour or so, Richard and I will be off to Cincinnati for him to conduct morning prayer.  We'll probably have lunch with Rob and Mary Linda.  Beyond that, we have no definite plans for the rest of my one-day weekend.

It's amazing how many presents a 3 year old can get. I guess when you invite 60+ people to various parties you will get lots of gifts!

She is obcessed with cinderella.  And playdough.  And watching little dora movies on the wall.

And her new build-a-bear. i'm not sure if they have that in the US (i'm guessing yes). You pick a stuffed animal that has no stuffing in it. They stuff it for you while you wait and you buy it clothes.

My niece has gone to the store a few times and wanted this panda (which is always sold out). So they got more in. And she dressed it like cinderella. Oy!  It looks pretty funny though.

My mom bought her this plastic jewelry kit from costco and she is obcessed with that too. We played it on friday night and she said, "oh thank you so much for coming to my house to play jewelrys".  Actually it was fun!

re: the salad bar thing (in grocery stores).

I guess it's what you're used to. Cause the idea of having areas to eat in the stores also surprised me. Although when i thought about the IGA here (that has all the already made foods) does have a small seating section.

It also seems weird that at $6/8/lb it could be cheaper to buy the salad bar than buy the stuff for a salad to make yourself. Here you can get a whole head of lettuce (or lettuce in a bag) for $1.
