So dad, are you doing Scrooge?  Did you decide?

No, I am still thinking about it.  But I may have thought my way right out of the part.

How so?

Well, I didn't hear anything more today from the director or the theater, so they may have just gone ahead and cast the role without me.  Oh well!

Well, I suppose I shall be on my way to this event thing.  I really don't feel up to it, but I think I must make an appearance.

Packing for the trip to Carrollton, GA, for my cousin's wedding.  I have to be at my mom's by 6am tomorrow, so I won't be staying up late tonight.

PICTURE TIME!

So, since I was at the hospital the other day, I figured I might as well...

Alas, it wasn't that good.  It was actually kind of grainy.  I thought that Jell-O was foolproof. I guess not.

No I hadn't seen the article.  Thank you, Jane, for the link.  I never got to meet Ms. Dean personally, although I did say hello to her when we arrived back from the site.  The slideshow picture says that she was on the Royal Majesty with me, but I thought she was on the other ship that went to the site.  The only survivor I ever got to meet and talk to was Eleanor Johnson Schuman.  She signed the print I have of the Titanic Grand Staircase.

And here's half a cup of Coffee Heath Bar, and half Apple Cinnamon - which turned out to be a pretty good combination.

My brothers, Don and Michael, came down this past Saturday with their kids in town.  We were able to snap this pic of all the Simbulan Women.

Thanks for all the vibes. Dad is tired and not feeling great, but mom said the stuff he drank did what it was supposed to do so that's a good thing.  They were supposed to go to Joplin to see my sister this weekend and now that they can't my sister asked if they wanted to go for Thanksgiving...and maybe I could drive them.  So, of course I said yes.  I wasn't going to do the family thing, but I don't mind traveling with Mom and Dad and feel much better driving them than having them drive themselves.

Well... I'm heading back to NYC until Saturday night - late Saturday night - and once my Mom is moved to a regular room on a regular floor of the hospital, well... Give me time.  :)

DR Cillaliz - I forget, is your Dad still in the hospital?  Or now that he's drunk all the "stuff" will he have to go in for the follow-up?

DR Jose, nice, nice family photo.

I can see the heath bar pieces but not the coffee, it almost looks like vanilla.

As for Jello, it is far from full proof as far as I'm concerned.

YEAH!!!

My Dad just called from the hospital.  They're just waiting for my Mom's recovery room to be readied for her.  However, since this morning, she's already had a brief session of physical therapy, and she took a walk!  She should be in her room by 6:00, and then I'll head over for a visit.  :)

Great news!
