My first question for ASK BK day....do you really expect to ENJOY Happy Days The Musical?

Probably not, but I'm going in with an open mind.

Well as Walter Kerr wrote:  I bought my ticket and hoped it would be good.  As the lights went down and the curtain rose, I hoped it would be good.  Then the show started, and I just hoped it would be over.

...And the medical "adventures" seem to be continuing today here in Richmond.  My father had an appointment this morning.  My mom's nurse is here right now.  And my father has another appointment this afternoon.  Fun, fun, fun...

DR elmore - As I believe DR Jane mentioned a few days ago, it's probably better that you're not heading home to Ohio this Thanksgiving due to the slew of flight cancellations that occurred a few weeks ago.  -And most of those cancellations affected the smaller markets/airports.  I have a few friends who are currently scrambling to find another way home for the holiday, and they're already finding that even Amtrak and the busses are practically sold out.

Yes, I know it would be nice to head home for Thanksgiving, but since it looks like the holiday travel season will be stressful for everyone involved, it's probably better that you stay in NYC, unstressed and among friends.  God knows, you don't need any more stress.

*I'm not even sure what my holiday plans are right now either.

As is par for my building's management, the laundry room was once again screwed up; today it was a dead waashing machine, so a week's worth of laundry, which would normally cost me around $5.00 cost me $8.50 down the street. It also meant that my trek to the NYPL was postponed, so I believe I will walk down there now. The Fat Conductor of Limited Talent and Limitless Ego usually shows up later in the day and I like to get there and back before I think the ass will show up to grace the Special Collections with his presence.

I'm also pondering an extra four bars in the intro to the STUDENT PRINCE medley, so I'll work that out while I walk.

I had my palm read when I was visiting Japan back in the early 90s. I am still waiting to drop dead in my mid 40s...although he did say that if I survived my 40s I would live into my 70s. So far , so good.

He also said I was "too gentle for women"

Down to our last 100 copies of the Herrmann CD and the orders direct to Kritzerland more than doubled that of the Bernstein, so that's great.

Well here's an a propos Ask BK question--how do you get the rights for stuff like this and the Bernstein?  Do you deal with the Estates?  Do you negotiate yourself or have an attorney do it?

After work tonight, I shall share all of the birthday wishes with Miss Dixie Bell.
I got her a little dog-shaped cupcake at Wal*Mart last night, so while mum and the cronies are playing cards, we'll have a little celebration.
