After work, I came home and prepared tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwiches for our supper.  Richard is still under the weather and needed some comfort food.

I'm hoping all our NY denizens will be at the Bacharach show and hopefully they should get their tix soon.

I've had mine for a while.  I did not, however, spring for the expensive reception.  And I'm jiggy with that.

Jrand, glad you like the packaging - Doug continues to do great work.  Did you read the liner notes?

And why is MBarnum buying other people's books - has he got the new Hofstetter mystery yet?  And, if so, I don't recall seeing an amazon review.

Just had a long telephonic conversation with Alex Ryback, the Bacharach music director - we're just about full up now, and it's a good mix of songs so far, so that's good.  Definitely need uptempos now.

We are watching a PBS special called "Monarchy - The Royal Family at Work."  The Queen is arriving in Richmond, VA, right now.

Major cuteness!  :)

Aw, thanks.  And, strangely enough, I don't my outfit ever became a hand-me-down to any of my three younger brothers.  ;)

I expect to be in a band rehearsal for a holiday concert the very same evening.

Thanks DR MBarnum.  We finally walked away from the owl.  I've never had that happen in the wild before.  It was 9:45 in the morning.  We think it was flying back to what appeared to be a nest & stopped when we approached.

On my drive to work this morning, I had to slow down when a grey fox ran across the road.

Then, as I walked onto the Library grounds, I heard a "whoosh" over my head and the famous downtown Dayton peregrine falcon landed on the fence between our staff parking lot and the city park behind our building.  I watched him for a few minutes and wished I'd had my camera.

I love Damien Lewis! Tonight's episode of LIFE is so quirky; I cannot wait to get it on DVD!

DR Singdaw, if DR Laura had taken the photo it would have been better.  No need to praise, I didn't take it since we still don't have a camera.  Luckily one of my fellow hikers has a new digital camera & shares.

I have a Facebook question.  I have 32 requests I haven’t done anything with.  Am I insulting anyone for not having responded?  I didn’t even click on “ignore”?

DR JANE I usually only respond to Friend requests, most of the others I don't.....games and puzzles and stuff.....

No one has complained yet....time will tell.

DRJOSE has 18 photos of his own child self on his FACEBOOK.....

Yes, that striped vest suit is super cool....and DR JOSE I am sure that none of your brothers could carry it off the way you do.

DR GINNY - all of the Falcons I see have four doors, but they are almost as rare as your peregrine.

DR Jane - Just click "Ignore". No one will know - and it will also clear your Notifications page.
