Good evening, one and all!

Enjoyable Oscar telecast.  Billy Crystal is always on when he hosts these awards.  I was so thrilled to see Sean Penn and Tim Robbins win the Best Actor categories.  I never saw COLD MOUNTAIN or MONSTER, so can't comment on the Best Actress categories.

I just wrote a post and posted it and it disappeared - so I'll try again.

Hmmm.  Weird. Guess I have to repeat what I wrote in my first post...
Good Evening. Just read the posts. Looks like a fun time was had by all at the HHW Oscar partay. My favorite moment of the Awards was Blake Edwards' audacious entrance. Other than that, no huge surprises. As I haven't seen any of the LOTR films, I can't comment on that win. Wish the Triplets of Belleville song had won.
I want to win one of those little naked gold men before I die.

...I don't mean I'd like to win one and pass away. That would be a bit of a downer. But I'd like to get an Oscar before I'm senile and in the Old Writers Home. I've been practicing my speech since I was a kid.
