I couldn't believe it. I ordered BONES and the WARNER HOMEFRONT COLLECTION today and both were IN STOCK!

I began my evening watching more of VERTIGO. I got up to the makeover sequence and needed to shut it off. Will pick up from there at another time.

Next, I watched SMALLVILLE. Very sad to see Clark lose his best friend like that. I had been thinking about dropping this show, but with this new development, I'll continue with it.

Next came DEXTER. Good episode with Jimmy Smits amping up his involvement in Dexter's business.

As for "The Skinner," it's been something of a letdown plot strand for the season for me.

NCIS. Good episode, but argh! The story didn't reach its conclusion.

FRINGE had an OK episode. It's another show I'm waffling on as to continue to watch.

ELI STONE had several intriguing storylines, all of which will be followed up in the next episode (in two weeks. Argh!)

Did anybody watch Mr. and Mrs. Smith tonight? FX channel.

In the theatrical version, at the very end of the movie when they break out of the little cabin and start shooting everyone, and the choreogrpahy is very "dance like' there was music accompanying the entire scene.

I *know* this because I decided to buy the CD based on the music heard in that particular scene!

Yet in the version shown tonight, there is no music, just the sound of the guns shooting.

Am I misremembering, or did they remove that particular piece of music, and if so, why?

I have my six month check-up at the dentist early tomorrow morning, so I'm heading down now to go to bed.

Good night!

Thanks.
Alright, I will say that the little orange kitten (Did DR Sandra name her Darla?) is very cute, and I will actually take a look at said little orange kitten.  But me and cats.... I just don't know.  I had a great time at a birthday party last weekend playing with a 9 year old lab and an 11 year old mutt and would have taken them in a second.

Your only hope is to dash right over to your local shelter and adopt a dog -NOW (or fate will insure you become Kitty-Daddy!)

Well, I need to leave for rehearsal.  Tonight, we're only working certain scenes, so I don't need to be there until 8:30.  But I need to leave now to be there in time.

Until later!

Well, I went to rehearsal.  When I got there, they were just finishing act 2, scene 1 (which I'm not in) and started scene 2, which I am in.  Scene 2 is "Down at the Ol' Five and Dime (Reprise)."  It's two choruses of the song, we (the Five and Dime kids) just step forward on the second chorus, group around Mr. Poppy, and then the scene is done.  It takes all of two minutes.  We did that twice, and that was it.  I was done for the evening.  I was there for a full ten minutes!  Now I'm home...and have been for a while.

I've read the reviews - a couple of raves, a few mixed, and a couple negative, but none actually saying it was an out and out disaster, something they just won't do with Sondheim.

As for the Topic of the Day...

"Diff'rent Strokes"
"The Facts of Life"

;D

Although, seriously...

"Good Times"

And I'm really surprised that no one has mentioned (unless I happened to gloss over the mention):

"Six Feet Under"(!!!!)

And the cast of "Remember WENN" was pretty good too.

In other news...

I had a great day with "The Team" from the Disney Cruise Line.  Even though I had just received the call last night to fill in for a flu-stricken pianist today, it was like I was meant to be there today.

By the end of the first hour of callbacks, we were running about 20 minutes behind, but by the end of the day, we ended up running about 40(!) minutes ahead(!).  *Many Thanks to all the actors and actresses who showed up early for their appointed times and wanted to go in earlier.

*And there was one young woman who made a point of Thanking me and shaking my hand after her callback: "You played my first ever audition years ago."  :)
