I haven't compared any prices, but...

J&R Music World is offering "Black Friday" prices on DVDs, DVD Boxed Sets and CDs. right now.  The orders won't ship until after Thanksgiving, but you can pre-order now.  Prices are starting at $3.99.

I had about 30 minutes before the time I needed to start watching UGLY BETTY from the DVR, so for some reason I plucked IMITATION OF LIFE from the shelf and watched the Lana Turner version (at least the first thirty minutes of it.) Don't know why I had an urge to watch it again, but I did enjoy revisiting it.

UGLY BETTY had a fabulous episode tonight. I was interested in every storyline and loved how they proceeded. Felt so sorry for Justin (been there, done that) and was happy for Betty and Marc.

I still don't know where they're going with Izzie on GREY's ANATOMY, but I thought the rest of the show was superb. Ghoulish, yes, but consistently attention-grabbing.

LIFE ON MARS was truly wonderful tonight, too. I did figure out what was going on before the big reveal, but it was still quite riveting. And touching, too.

And, apparently, K-Mart has already started offering their Black Friday prices on-line - they started back on November 4.  -Alas, I found out about that from the New York Times...

I have to agree. I left the room once when I thought it was going to get too ghoulish, but I came back to see what happened, and I have it on DVR so I can go back and watch now that I know how it turned out

Well, since I've been up since 4:45 AM, driven 3 1/4 hours to Des Moines, sat through and all day seminar and driven back home, I think I'll get some sleep so I can get up early and get to the office before my busy day tomorrow.

I did see the "suggestion" that PUSHING DAISIES, DIRTY SEXY MONEY, and ELI STONE would not receive an order for any more episodes past their contracted 13 for the first half of the season. I think they're DEAD wrong with ELI STONE, one of the most engrossing comedy-dramas I've seen in years.

And on a happier note, Bravo has negotiated with Kathy Griffin to do another year of her series (as well as hosting other gigs on the network). Hooray!

Piffle. Neither you nor I said anything that wasn't suggested/present from last week's show and previews (and promos which have been running all week).

The news tonight was really funny.  The local anchor was trying to do a serious story on the two Iowa turkeys who are going to be pardoned and live their lives at Disney World and he started laughing - then his co-anchor started laughing.  It was one of those moments and was great

And it just goes on from there...for seven pages (if I print it out)!

I can translate that for you. It says that her husband died and left her a very rich widow and she is willing to give you the money if you will send her a certified check for several thousand dollars.

When I got home and looked at the e-mail, it turns out that it's in Russian and my computer at work must not have the correct font installed.  I think this will work:

Grey's Anatomy is creeping me out tonight.  Not sure I want to watch this

Ooo...I wonder what could be happening. :o

I'll have to wait until I get home after rehearsal, which is where I'm going right now.

Until later!

I won't tell.  You'll have to watch it

I will, but I'll also need to watch last week's episode first, THEN tonight's episode.
