I am certainly intrigued by Mr Alain Delon....and any fan of THE TALENTED MR RIPLEY would do well to check out the French version from 1960 directed by Rene Clement.

I also saw an interesting Australian movie tonight called Lantana starring Mr Anthony Paglia and Ms Barbara Hershey, among others.....

Oh, "Lantana"! - I remember seeing that back when it originally came out.  Well, maybe in a sort of "second run": I saw it as part of the Foreign Films series at Johns Hopkins University.  Very interesting and atmospheric.

DR Matt, sounds like a great evening when you can watch exactly what you want to watch and not what you have to watch

It IS! And my right stack right now is really surprisingly small. Nothing came in today, so the weekend will allow me to pretty much clear the pile (or come close to it). I will have some time to start working on my "fun" stacks of discs that have accumulated over the past months.

And I finished my evening watching tonight's PSYCH, another just OK episode with an average mystery.

I'm still disappointed that my cable company hasn't seen fit to add USA-HD though they've added and plan to add more HD channels, at least 2/3 of them being sports-oriented HD channels.

I'm feeling very tired tonight. I'm going to head down to bed.

Good night!

Smart?  Nah, I just like to eat.  ;)

*And Blue Chili is pretty good, although, I just wish it wasn't so night-club-by.  But after Old Siam closed around the corner from them, they "absorbed" the kitchen and the kitchen staff, which was a very good thing.

Time to get some sleep. We're eating breakfast at 6:00 AM and then we're off.  Since I'm doing all the driving, I better get some sleep.

Hello all I had a very full day -- I went to the  Radiation Dr and had my mask made - a very interesting process whichI will not bore you with  - they needed tot ake a CT scan with the mask on but there was an emergancy patient brought in so I had to wait about an hour for the CT machine to be free - so I watched TV and drank coffee and ate cookies and chatted with the extremely pleasant  staff

DR Vixmom, what is the mask for? Does it shield you somehow when they do radiation?  Pardon my ignorance about this, but luckily I haven't had to go through it.

It will keep my head from moving during treatment - it is made of a  plastic webbing material withe  solid frame around it - they heated it up and the pushed it over  my face and right down to the table where the frame locks in.

When the plastic cooled it stayed in the shape of my face and I will wear the mask every day while I get the treatments.

This is all new to me too, so please ask away and if I know the answers I will tell you --- and if I donlt I'll find out!

Do you get to keep the mask as a souvenier, DR Vixmom?

That's really interesting.  It sounds painful, is it terribly uncomfortable?

I have been catching up on my Bollywood movie watching today...so far I watched a comedy about a gangster who enters medical school and a 1960s Hindi version of King Kong....now I am watching a delightful film titled RULES: PYAAR KA SUPERHIT FORMULA, it is about a lowly photographers assistant who is in love with a male model.
