April Love/Tammy & the Bachelor - a CD of these two soundtracks.  What fun songs and some nice underscoring.

TOD:

I've been whacking my brain trying to think of anything recent that I've absolutely loved to death, but aside from the Christmassy Bernard Herrmann A CHRISTMAS CAROL, nothing is coming to mind.  I'll keep pondering, though.

Good morning!

A beautiful but cold morning. Should be pretty for the next few days.

TOD:

A dear friend gave me a wonderful box set of THE MUSIC BEHIND THE MAGIC, the demo, work, and final versions of the Ashman-Mencken Disney animated musical scores. I have been taking my time with it because it's so great I want to enjoy every second of the music. This is, by far, the CDs that I have most enjoyed over the past few months.

Unless something interesting comes in the mail today review-wise, I'll be stuck working on the latest TRANSFORMERS animated box set, 7 discs of cartoon episodes. This is going to take me days to get through these, one of the downsides of this job I usually enjoy very much.

The question that has likely been asked/answered more than once:  Was last night's show recorded?  Will it be issued on a CD?

Was it videoed?

My head hit the pillow at two-thirty and I arose at eleven-thirty.  I really must have been exhausted - I cannot remember the last time I slept that long.  Of course, now I'm a little behind, so I'm going down to the fitness room, will work an hour there, then figure out about Fed Ex, ship the box, and then go directly to rehearsal.

One correction to Singdaw's wonderful post about the evening - the opening number was staged by Adam Cates.  The contribution to it was the idea of using the LP covers.

I think that the CW has a rerun of 90210. But i believe it has last night's PRIVILEGED (tues is its regular night but it moved to monday this week and maybe next?).

One thing I forgot to mention in the recap is that bk's physical "transformation" is of course impressive in photographs.

But to behold it live, it is all the more shocking, impressive, and inspirational.    :)
