The windchill right now is 22 degrees below zero and the winds are gusting to 50 mph.  Think I'll stay inside today.  Wonder how Dakota is doing. It's really cold and snowy in Fargo

That Disney AGE OF BELIEVING documentary begins at 7 p.m. tonight on TCM. It looks to be really good, especially if you're a fan of Disney's live action films. Can't wait to see this.

I'll likely watch more episodes of HONEY WEST today along with finishing SCROOGE that I started last night.

Tonight will be THE DARK KNIGHT on Blu-ray (FINALLY!), that Disney documentary, and, if I can fit it in, the DEXTER finale.

Good morning.  What a night!  I slept very little, and spent a lot of time trying to find a workable sleeping position for a miserably stuffy little baby.  At 5:30 we gave up, got up, and came down to the recliner.  Both of us have slept a bit more, but not much.  I am now gulping coffee and researching humidifiers to buy for our bedroom.  DH Jed hates the idea of one, since he hates humidity, but we're out of other options to help Toby get over this stuffy nose.  The cold outside is making it worse, I'm sure.  We have a light dusting of snow outside, and the temp is barely reaching 30.  But, after reading Cilla's post, I don't feel like I have any right to complain!  :D

TOM: You were in my thoughts yesterday when I read that a new store has opened in our local Mall - Exotic Pets! I can buy a Wallaby or a Kinkaju and heaven knows what else. Apparently the Wallabies are US bred for the pet trade >:(

Well, my Son-in-Law has finished refurbishing the California house and is about to start his long journey home to his family in Maryland. He's driving a truck and towing a large trailer - and has never done any long distance driving. I laid out the whole trip for him and made all his Motel reservations. Hopefully, the weather will behave as best can be expected in December. (I warned him in Aug that he'd best plan on leaving no later than the end of Oct.)...

I don't know why you're surprised that no one in that family listens to you.  They never even listen to each other.

*Le sigh.*

 ;D

It was very nice of DB to book all the reservations and track the trip.

That's the beauty of DR Tomovoz living in that crazy time zone he lives in...   ;)

We get to wish him HAPPY BIRTHDAY over two whole days!!!!!!

Happy Birthday, Tom!!!!    :)

Plus, I think he ages two years instead of one!  There are years, there are dog years, and there are Tomovoz years.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, TOM!

Good Morning!

I'm up, I'm up... And since I slept in today, I guess that means I'm not seeing a $6.00 movie matinee today.

I think the article is just plain vague, although, I think it actually implies that the conductor did not come across "Dream With Me" until 1997 for himself, by himself, not that the song was "buried" until then.  But...

bk - Just write the letter to the L.A. Times yourself.  You produced the album, so you're most definitely an "authority" here.  Do you ever read the Letters to the Arts Editor in the New York Times?  They're filled with comments, corrections and clarifications from composers, conductors, performers, scholars and producers.  And the "credit" is always given in a post-script after the body of the letter - free publicity!

Back from Sunday morning shopping - something I rarely do.  I'm in for the day and ready to finish decking the halls and trimming the tree.

Sherlock alerted us to the fact there were cars on the road in front of our house.  One car headed down the other headed up.  Unfortunately they slowed each other down causing the car headed up to get stuck on the slippery snow covered road.  Keith is down there now with our cell phone & a phone book.

It might not have been so bad if the woman, who must have been too scared to stay in the car, got our while they moved up the road again.  After going a few feet they stopped again to let her back in, and that was it.  Now they have slid backwards into the ditch.
