Voldemort is basically a middle school girl: he has a locket, a diary, a tiara, a ring, and is completely obsessed with a teenage boy.

I almost forgot!  I actually forgot to check my mail yesterday, so I checked it when I came home from my sister's tonight.  I received a couple of cards from HHW DRs and a lovely package from DR Elmore!  Thank you very much! :-*

In other news...

I went to see "The Class" ("Entre les murs") earlier tonight.  Comme çi, comme ça.  Pas mal, pas bien.  It was a lot more "talky" than I expected - and since it was in French, that meant a lot of subtitles to read, and the pacing of the film was a bit slow for my taste - everything sort of unfolded in real time.  However, the acting was very good, although, I need to do some research on the film just to see how much of it was scripted.  The movie centers around a teacher and his class, and the kids, well teenagers, were great.  -But then when the credits started to roll, each character's name matched the real actor's name, so... ???

Coming up next on TCM is "The Shop Around the Corner" with Margaret Sullavan and Jimmy Stewart.  I've never seen it and I set my DVR to record it.  A couple of nights ago, I was able to record "In the Good Old Summertime," the musical remake with Judy Garland and the recently late Van Johnson.  Now, I just need to get "You've Got Mail" and I'll have the trilogy. ;)

After the movie, I met up with a friend, and we hung out for a while, and eventually rang in Christmas with a toast of Pineapple Fanta.  :)
