Well, you've read the notes, the notes were tranquil and certain, and now it is time for you to post until the certainly tranquil cows come home.

LONDON —  An extremely rare 1937 Bugatti has been found in a garage in England and is expected to draw a record price when it is auctioned in Paris next month.

The dusty but intact Bugatti Type 57S Atalante is one of only 17 ever made. It had a top speed of 130 mph at a time when most cars could only go half as fast.

The powerful two-seater car from the heyday of the celebrated Bugatti marquee is expected to be sold for more than 3 million pounds ($4.3 million).

Something SingDing could drive to the Hamptons.

Today at church, our Music Director is supposed to be returning after a medical leave starting since before Halloween.  Since much of the burden of filling in the gaps has fallen to me, I shall be the most delighted to see her return!  :)

It looks like I'm not the only one browsing the internet when I should be sleeping.  I don't feel well & was researching my symptoms.

Why were you up DRs DerBrucer & Singdaw?

well I must say I would not wish chemo or its side effects on my worst enemy - not even the McBeths

I sincerely pray that Laura's sister has an easier time with her treatment than I am.

Apparently  I am a delicate flower and everything they do causes utmost distress to my system - I always thought I was the strong rugged type so I am quite suprosed by this turn of events.  My sympathies are (and yours should be) really with Vixdad who has the burden of caring for me.

I am happy to report that the Vixter was invited out to a hotel sleepover party (the one I usually co-chaperone every January) for her friend's birthday.  They were going to be swimming and eating pizza and doing beauty makeovers.  A nice change of pace for her after 2 weeks of fetching and carrying for an often irritable mother.

Well, anyone who can afford a house like that would have to be pretty flush.

(Hey, someone had to say it!  And remember, no groaning allowed, although this time we might permit a few grunts.)
