DR TCB I believe the prices for Vegas changed when it became a family location.  Now if you are a big gambler you can get your room compt at nice hotel. ;)

I finished the long script.  Whew!  So unwieldy.  I shall now be on my way to Xerox book pages for muse Margaret, and then I shall go directly to their home environment, after which I shall return.

Good evening all.  I'm finally sitting down for a bit after a very productive day.  Lots of laundry, kitchen cleaning, and the like.  Also, I finally managed to get started on my 2009 exercise program.  My local YMCA has an indoor track, so I power-walked 3 miles on it wearing Toby in the wrap.  Not a long walk, but with a 13+ pound baby strapped to me, it helped burn some calories.  This is my first step in getting back to my pre-baby workout routine.

And, because I haven't posted a Toby pic yet this year...here are two.

First, a tummy-time pic I took this afternoon.

and his "official" 4 month picture, for the month-by-month series I am doing

Exactly when did Las Vegas become a legit travel destination?  Back when I was a travel agent (Chris Columbus couldn't figure out which cruise ship to take, so he took all three), Las Vegas and / or Reno were practically throw away package trips to sell.  They were so cheap, that we didn't make any money off of them.  Now, round trip air and four nights in a lower class hotel is over $600.00.

Have you checked Allegiant Air?  From Medford we can fly each way for $29-$79 depending on the day.

Fun, and very well shot!

Toby gets cuter every day.  He is just darling.  I love the month by month, side by side photos.

DR Ann, a 3 mile power walk with a baby, I think you are off to a great start!

I thought I emailed Keith and told him to get you a camera for Christmas.

I need to get back into my exercise program again.  this past week was so busy and with the burn being an open sore most of the week, I didn't want to go to use the machines at curves and pick up who knows what kind of germs.  It's healing nicely, well if an ugly old scab and dry red skin is nice....time to get busy again

You did & he did get me one for my birthday.  We used it to take photos of the wedding & Christmas celebrations.  Then he gave it to Craig & said he would get us a better camera.  I'm still waiting-lol.  The reason we were without a camera until my birthday was Bryan needed a better camera for his trip through the Rockies.  We are too good to our children ;)

I bet the local paper will have some pretty photos.  I will look for them.  Really cool would have been the view through the telescope.  The moon rising over the mountains with the trees framing it would have been lovely.  I'm sorry to tease you & then not have a camera.  I called all two of our neighbors & they couldn't help.

DR PennyO - hilarious Amahl stories.  I have at one time or another over the years sung each of the three King roles.  We once had 3 white kings, so they changed the line, at my expense, to:

"The kings are three - and one of them is FAT!"     :)

(The "Sorry" game sketch, too.)

I was so obssessed with this that I tape recorded the audio from the television, typed up a transcript, and forced my friends to act out the whole thing in front of our class for the talent show.

How gay is that?    ;)

DR JoseSPiano - I think that there were at least three episodes of The Starland Vocal Band show, because I remember watching them.    :)

Interesting...South Sioux City, NE High School is doing CURTAINS in March.  I can't imagine that.  A part of me wants to see it a part of me is terrified of what it would be like to see a 17 year old Carmen Bernstein talking to her 15 year old daughter Bambi
