Mr Paul Peterson wrote a nice editorial/article about Ms Cheryl Holdridge.

DerBrucer, have the birds returned to your feeders?

I have a gilded flicker on the hummingbird feeder and a curved-bill thrasher on the platform feeder right outside my window at the moment.

I just read that they are planning to close down The Motion Picture Country Home due to lack of funds.

Let's hope some of those multi bilionaire movie stars and producers will chip in and do something about this!

(when I kick the bucket half of my life insurance goes to the MPCH)

Now what will you do?

Keith's mother's famous cousin lived there.  We never met him though I asked a number of times if we could go.  I figured if we took Keith's brother with us the staff would know we were related.

I was horrified to remember last night that I didn't watch or record LEVERAGE on Tuesday night. Thank you TNT-HD for scheduling it at other times during the week. I'll be able to get the broadcast on Saturday morning at 9 a.m. so I can watch it while I eat lunch on Saturday.

Don't miss it - we see an entertaining  different side of a few characters.

FOX - KITCHEN NIGHTMARES

I think they did on-location taping for this right in my own home.

And according to the listings, it's TWO HOURS tonight, so you MUST have had some REAL problems!
;D

My COMCAST listings so two 1-hr shows (re-run plus a new one)

But BK, I am surprised that you don't find more of the Bollywood leading ladies attractive....I mean take a look...

Wow--those women were getting bigger and bigger!  I was getting afraid to scroll down any further.

As for the Topic of the Day....

Book: "The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay"

Movie(s): "Cinema Paradiso" ("Longtime Companion", "Slumdog Millionaire")

Play: As Is

Musical: Sunday in the Park with George

These made me think of others.

Ditto Amazing Adventures

Ditto Longtime Companion

Ditto As Is and add Normal Heart

Ditto SITPWG and add Falsettos (the whole thing)

I ditto all of your dittos (Except for AMAZING ADVENTURES which I have yet (inconceivably) to read)

I'm reading all kinds of crazy additions to chicken salad.

Relish.

Feta.

cranberries.

Chopped pickles, grapes and raisins always struck me as odd additions but I've found that they've become fairly common.

The weather forecasters were carrying on abou the big storm - it looks like we barely got an inch of snow on the ground.  It is cold though - 17 degrees last I heard

Jennifer - that does sound very odd that they would have your sister transport the fluids - you would think that if tehy needed to be transportted the hospital would arrange the transfer in a controlled temperature

As for the chicken salad I would skip the celery but add some craisens and almonds.

I wish we had some appreciable snow down here in Philly and environs.  Not a lot--just enough to make it look pretty.
