OK... An CBS just went ahead shifted tonight's schedule by 15 minutes - at least on the East Coast.

I've written a little over nine pages - a very good day's work - at least I hope I like it when I read it again in the morning.  I've now over a third of the way through this book - whew!

The file is called:  MVI_2480.avi

I don't know what an .avi file is.

It is still trying to load.

.avi files are video files.  Does it look like it is loading but just taking a long time?  I know that YouTube has a file size limit (1 GB per file), so it might be converting it to the flash video that it uses.  That could be why it's taking so long.

I found this on YouTube's site:

Quote
Getting Started: Video processing time

Processing time varies greatly depending on the format of your original video, file size, and upload traffic. This could take anywhere from a few minutes to several hours.

If after 8 hours you still see a status message next to the video saying "Uploaded (processing, please wait)," try removing the video from our site and uploading it again. To do this, simply click the "Remove Video" button below the video in question in "My Videos" and go through the full upload process again.

Make sure your video is under 10 minutes in length. We accept most video file formats, including .wmv, .mov, .mpg, or .avi. If your video meets these minimum requirements and still won't upload, there may be a problem with the video compression you're using. We recommend the MPEG4 format at 640x480 resolution with MP3 audio.

Everything I need to accomplish today is finished. It's freezing in this apartment, so I think I'll lay out my meds for the next week and go to bed.

No. She was already in the tree -- just batting at the ornaments. Nothing special. It's just been a while since we have had a kitten in the house.

We got Joshie as a kitten in January 2002, so he was grown by the time he saw a Christmas tree. He was feral, so he wasn't really free to play and be a kitten -- he was in "boot camp."
