AFAIC, she's wonderful to watch even in such dreck as THE PLEASURE SEEKERS and KITTEN WITH A WHIP.

I have always liked her, still there are things I won't watch.  I wish her hubby hadn't had to retire.

I thought she was very good in "52 Pickup."  I loved "Bye, Bye, Birdie" just because it was fun and didn't know how much they'd changed the play.  And it is still fun.  As a kid, I liked her in "State Fair, " but it's almost embarassing to watch her in it now.  "Viva Las Vegas" is the quintessential Ann Margaret film.    I liked her in the made for TV movie with Julie Andrews  too about her son dying of AIDS.

I felt the same way about STATE FAIR though I'm more luke-warm today.  It really isn't her as much as the change in the character from the original version.

It's not the set, but could be the cable feed. The audio on the pre-recorded segments is also messed up so it doesn't seem to be the live feed. But as George mentioned, it's not too horrible, and some folks probably wouldn't notice. It looks fabulous (apart from the locked down extreme wide shot where the color balance is off.)

Ah, but the "Isn't It Kinda Fun?" number does have to be seen to be believed!  It was later revisited in its own way in VIVA LAS VEGAS' "Appreciation."

Oh, and I liked Ann-Margaret in "The Cheap Detective" and in "Magic."  I love "Pocketful of Miracles" but it has nothing to do with her.  She's really pretty bad in that.

Yes, but "Isn't It Kinda Fun" in the original was charming, and AM's version is so crass and brash.  Wonderfully tacky!   She's kind of like Cheez-Whiz in that movie.

I ate the chocolate cake, which was as good as it looked.  I've started a French motion picture from France, but have also bee cleaning out some cabinets, which were piled with crap I didn't need and have now thrown away, thereby clearing up some much needed space - I can place tapes and CDs in these bathroom cabinets.

Danise, I envy you the remodeling. My house is about the same size as yours and I would love to add a bedroom or a loft or maybe a bathroom that a person could actually sqeeze in to.

I just finished watching Alan Steel (aka Sergio Ciani) in HERCULES AND THE BLACK PIRATES.

Who knew that Hercules ever lived in Spain and was the son of a lowly fisherman.
