I had a couple glasses of wine with Pam - the lawyer with the jury out -tonight.  So, I didn't get the basement ready for the carpet layers.   that means I'll be getting up early and moving stuff.  they aren't going to arrive until 9:00 or 10:00 so that should be fine

Here's a print version:

Christian Bale's F-Word-Laced Verbal Tirade Caught on Tape

Quote
...
“I want you off the [expletive] set, you [expletive],” the man whose voice is believed to be Bale’s says.

After Hurbut apologizes, Bale reportedly shouts “No, don’t just be sorry. Think for one [expletive] second. What the [expletive] are you doing? Are you a professional or not?”

As Hurlbut responds calmly, Bale only seems to grow more angry.

“Am I gonna [expletive] rip your lights down in the middle of the scene? Then why the [expletive] are you walking right through ‘Duh-duh-duh-duh-duh’ in the background,” Bale allegedly says. “What the [expletive] is with you? What the [expletive] don’t you understand?”

Hurlbut reportedly apologized several times, assuring the actor – who allegedly attempted to involve the director McG in the altercation – that he meant no harm by the mistake.

After Bale reportedly calmed down and prepared to finish the scene, he allegedly became enraged again when Hurlbut attempted to apologize another time.

Reportedly threatening to beat Hurlbut up, Bale allegedly continues on to say: “You do it one more [expletive] time and I ain’t walking on the set if you’re still hired.

You’re a nice guy, but that won’t [expletive] cut it when you’re bull[expletive] and [expletive] around on set … Seriously, you and me man, we’re [expletive] done professionally,” Bale reportedly finishes before the tape ends.
...

Well, nothing here DR Laura can put in the Bulletin.

Finished with my viewing.  I did write one more page so I've done a full seven.  I'd do another but I'm so tired and not with it.  Maybe I'll feel better after a nice long shower.

All the best for you both~

Tomorrow I'll have the lastest on the multiplication of unseemly cancer cells. Not knowing is often the worst part.

DRs who are current and ex-library workers will be pleased to know I joined the library today. Of course they had nothing there I wished to borrow!  I was so spoilt having a School Library with librarians willing to recommend books.  (some without illustrations too).

I just went to the theatre down the street (the one that won the Tony a year or two ago) to see a new version of JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR---a gospel version. Greg knows that I like the show and have gone to many productions of it. Since it was my birthday, he humored me by going along.

It was a fantastic production in every sense of the word, and Greg said he thought it stood up to anything he'd ever seen in NY. Obviously the scale was smaller than a NY production, but there were about 55 people on stage and we knew some of the musicians and singers. This has been developed here with mostly Atlanta talent and should be going on a world tour in the future. Very exciting!

I've just finished 9 novels by Seattle writer Robin Hobb.  I'm looking forward to some book by Terry Books and the like.  I've put in a request for two by P V Jones which the local library will obtain from eslewhere.

If anyone is interested in supporting another first time writer, Mr Elusive Butterfly - Bob Lind's book "East Of The Holyland" is out there looking for readers.  Unfortunately the cost of postage from the US of A means I miss out on so much.  DVDs and Cds are bad enough. (I usually am paying at least double the list price to have things mailed here)

I kept wondering if DR Jose/Larry/Fred knew any of the cast and crew, since some came from NY.

Mine has been shipped, but I haven't received it yet.

Has Judy Kaye ever played Rose? Was she good? Or would she be good?

Judy Kaye did Rose in Seattle. . .she's a great listen, one of those performances I wish I could see.

I saw her in Follies in Seattle as Sally and she was phenominal!

And now, I must leave.  I'm still at work because our five-county, 27-branch library district went for a levy-lid lift to try and increase our taxing revenue to what it should be...50¢/$1000 of property value.  A Washington state initiative from several years ago prevents tax increases of more than 1% without a public vote, so we're now actually down to something like 34¢/$1000 of property value.  The vote was today and we just found out that it failed.  From what I understand, we're fine (financially) for 2009, but some things will have to happen for 2010 and beyond.  I don't know if it'll mean a reduction-in-force, but you never know. :-\
