Jose, you should try to find today's "Non Sequitur" comic if you can--it's about Twitter.

WHAT IS IT, FISH?

I am hopeful that this will meet with DR Ron Pulliam's approval, as it is neither sugary nor fatty.  :)

It's not the food (or food type) photo, DR DAW.   Rather,  after five more people post similar photos today (not including all the re-posts of the photos in replies to the original), three or four post more tomorrow (ditto on the reposts with replies), and then in three days, someone catching up will have been compelled to also post a similar photo, THEN it will be very OLD, indeed!

In more ways than one.     ;)

That truly captures all I've imagined it to be about!  ;)

I guess one needs to be all a-Twitter to fully appreciate whatever it is.

I think that Jerome Robbins show should be really good. Unfortunately, I must hope the PBS-HD channels on my system replay it in the wee small hours of the morning since the DVR will be overly busy during the two hours it runs in prime time.

We get an HD re-run on Sat at 8PM

I absolutely hate, loathe and despise long weekends.  You always have to go BACK to work.   Except for folks like DR MattH and DR Ginny and DR der Brucer, and various sundried folk on hiatus (so to speak).

While it's true that I don't have a 9-5 job with a regular paycheck, I really do feel that the reviewing job I have IS work. True, I can do it in the comfort of my own home (just like many writers have the privilege of doing), and I do set for myself "office hours" which correspond to work hours for my many reviewing projects. I feel the responsibility and deadlines for my job just like I did when I was teaching, to be honest. So, while I have much more freedom than a button-down job where I have to leave home on a regular basis, I really don'y feel I'm on any kind of hiatus. (But I sure did before I took this reviewing post.)

Der Brucer:  I was visiting the archives courtesy of a search this morning and I re-read a post by S. Woody from 2005 or 2006 in which he reported he was going to be looking for wildflower seeds to sow on the lot next door.  He said the owner of the lot had cleared it and that you both desperately needed some color.

What has happened on, or to, that formerly razed lot?

I must now head downstairs to clean the den. I didn't get to it this morning. Then, I'll start preparing my lunch.

When I employ the "squint factor" while standing in front of a mirror.

And with the right lighting.

Or did you mean, by "dashing good looks", the kind of looks that makes folks want to dash themselves upon a pile of rocks?
