A Fed Ex package I've been waiting on finally arrived.  But I'm too logey to go pick it up.  We'll see how I feel in a little while.

Thanks.  I thought the shot might offer some protection.

DR Elmore, were those two unrelated questions or is the dirt about Sutton Foster's cd?

Ooh, the dirt is flying about today! Does anybody have Sutton Foster's new solo album?

Not yet...what's going on??  PMs appreciated! ;)

I cannot say anything, but i'm dying to know all of the credits on Sutton's new album before I put it together. Sutton's a good lady and she isn't involved in this, but someone working on the album has pulled some crap on a friend of mine concerning a number on this album.

DR Vixmom i agree with DR Cillaliz and think it is an honor to be asked to be a bridesmaid. Your future sister-in-law is asking because she wants you to be in the wedding party.

And i disagree about the age thing. It might be one thing if she was 20. But if she's in her 40s then there is really not that much age difference.

And who knows maybe she won't do the frilly dress thing. AT my sister's wedding she picked the color and let the bridesmaids and me pick our own dresses.

I would decline, but then I wouldn't want to wear the dress with the butt-bow.

Why, DR Laura!  You do have a way with expressions!

My brother's fiancee has asked me to be a bridesmaid - I am honored of course but I feel a bit like it is dressing mutton as lamb

I am over 50 and a good 10 years older than the bride.

Am I being silly?

Ladies I appeal to you - the other bridesmaids would be her younger sister and some of her friends who I presume to be her age.

They would have Vixdad as well which is fine , men can wear tuxes and look wonderful whatever their age.

The wedding is set for October 10.

They also want the Vixter to sing which would be very nice.

I think you should accept.  You will be recovered by October and looking great!

I'm glad to hear you a feeling a bit better :)

DR DtM, I’m glad your mysterious ailment turned out to be ordinary stuff.  Feel better soon.

Bruce, good idea to stay in tonight & hopefully feel better tomorrow.

I just haven't had much interest in Miss Foster, I must say.  But, looking for the dirt, I did see a thread on B'wayworld where a bunch of fifteen year olds are experiencing their first orgasms over the CD.

I don't see a problem with being a bridesmaid no matter what your age.  To me it's an honor to be asked to play a role in someone's big day.  So, I vote that you are being silly and you will be a lovely bridesmaid.  If anyone is calculating the age of the bridesmaids rather than paying attention to the wedding, well, their opinion just isn't worth worrying about

I totally agree...add my opinion to the "DO IT!" column. ;D

Time to get din-din on the table, and then back to beddy-bye for me.  Unlike our Esteemed One, I cannot blame allergies for my current malady - what I have is a dag-blammed COLD!

DR Jose, it seemed to be beginning while I was at encores! today, and the apartment is feeling much cooler this evening. I thought the temperature might be dropping quickly.

I saw the forecast earlier today, I just didn't think it would "feel" so drastic.

Yes, the forecast for the next few days is much cooler than it has been but by the end of next week we should be up into the 50s.

I'm seeing Garden of Earthly Delights on Sunday afternoon. I've heard great things about it. It's a theatre piece by Martha Clarke. It's based on the painting by Hieronymus Bosch. It was done in NY in the 80s at the very same theatre where it is being revived (The Minetta Lane).

Thank you for all the vibes on behalf of my friend.

After only 36 hours, it seems that they caught the killer:

I just got a ticket for Blithe Spirit. I'm not crazy about seeing the very first performance but at least it's a ticket. If I like it and it's on TDF again I'll go a second time or I could just buy a last row balcony seat (which is the same price as this TDF ticket).

Now if only Guys and Dolls and West Side Story would get on to TDF. Guys and Dolls has been is on TKTS every time that I've been in Midtown and checked the board.
