I think my next "Street Walk" will be Meeting Street.  Then I'll most likely start a zig-zagging of all the cross streets... And then it will be onto the various "islands" and beaches here.  -Oh, and Fort Sumter too.

I'm thinking about planting a vegetable garden this year, just not sure where to do it.  I'm thinking the back yard. there may be a good spot that gets sun most of the afternoon.

DR Jane - Thanks again for the update on DR Danise. I'm sure her reunion with reunion with DD Sheena will make the rest of the "process" much more tolerable for her.

DR Jose, we need you to come and work in Phoenix sometime so you can tell us where the good restaurants are.

;D

I was chatting with some of the office staff today, and they were passing on suggestions for restaurants in town that they thought I would enjoy.  Of course - due to my semi-photographic memory - I had already heard about most of the places they suggested.  And I was able to pass on some suggestions to them too. ;)  -Thank You, Yelp!  Thank You, Twitter!

OK--real story, just happened here.  We're playing Scrabble.  Betsy opens with POLIO, which Betsy's mother immediately tells her to take off the board because it's too depressing.  Betsy's mother then replaces it with BRACE.  You can't make this stuff up folks.

DR Ron Pulliam - I wandered into one of the Inns downtown, and they had a "joggling board" set up in their lobby.  Did you ever "joggle"?

Back from The Chancies - The Brain was nominated for three awards - sound (!), costumes, and lead actress - it was shut out.  It was nice to see certain people.

Shayne, yes, I always forget that I did The Super - a VERY unpleasant show to work on - Castellano was a pig.  His daughter played the girl - she was nice.  Bruno was in it, and I did meet and become pals with Vic Tayback, who I really liked a lot.

Hmmm... Maybe a Joggling Board is what DR MBarnum needs...

"According to the stories around the Charleston area, the joggling board has many different tales; some being romantic and some giving an 'aha' moment. The joggling board has been an old Low Country tradition since the early 1800's. During the times when young men and women were 'courting' the showing of any public display of affection was strictly hush-hush. Typically, whenever a young man and lady were courting, they would sit on opposite sides of the joggling board. As they bounced and rocked on the joggling board, the two would eventually meet in the middle. The ending was always happy, and the couple would live the rest of their lives together. It had also been said, according to legend, that there was never an unmarried daughter at the home that had a joggling board."

Well, I watched the final episode of "Battlestar Galactica" and then called my sister.  We chatted a while and both came to the same conclusion:

bk, I'm loving the notes (as are a lot of us, I'm sure), it's like an daily ongoing story.... like they used to do in the newspapers/magazine's etc.  You really are a survivor and you have the stories to prove it, very good motivational material.  You rock.
