DO YOU KNOW THE MILKY WAY?

Well, you've read the notes, the notes were milky and had a way about them, and now it is time for you to post until the cows come home - they're currently eating Snicker's, as they don't like Milky Ways.

Here is revised Nudie art, taking into account a few comments from here.  We're going to try one other version, but that can't happen until I get him something to work with, which will be on Sunday.

sorry this is late, from 2 days ago

I have a copy of "The Creature Wasn't Nice".

I wish I had a copy of "One From the Heart".

BK looks simply marvelous with foil and under the hairdrier.

Dear JRand58,  I think the  monavie thing is way out of my price range.

Dear JoseSPiano, always love the pictures with monkey.

Dear SweetIrma:  Hi newly registered, and thank you for the Barbra Streisand song and link.

This suggestion is not being prudish, but move the title slightly to the left, so the first letter of each word is on the body.  A little more centered? I thionk it is justified to to the right a little too much. The F & N will still have some of the lettering on the blue.

TOD

Now I don't know if this is considered avant guard, but

Tom Stoppard's  Dogg's Hamlet/Cahoot's MacBeth.

The first play is spoken in Dogg that was created by a Philospher. English words that we know have a completely different meaning. It culminates in a mini in a "highlight" version of Hamlet of 20 minutes or so.The curtain call is a sped up version of the play.

Cahoot's MacBeth took place somewhere in the USSR (I think Czechoslovakia)and it told the story of a theater troupe that would perform in people's house because theater was banned. This is based on a true story. The ending of the play somehow connects with the first play. I no longer remember how. Cahoot  is an Anglo-sized version of a name that was based on a Czech playwright

DR Jane,  re: the Barbie cake beauty.

It is a new barbie design.

Btw, i'm not sure if they are selling them in the US. Cake Beauty is a Canadian company. And while they sell their products in the US they have a website where you click where you live. On the
canadian site they had the barbie products. But not on the US site. :(

Saturday morning greetings!  I'm about to leave for my 4-hour stint at the book sale.  Do you think my Michigan sweatshirt will have a negative impact on our sales, considering that Ohio State lost last night in double overtime?

Good morning, all!  Lebanon, OH, is a hop and a skip from my hometown, BK. I could have come to see you in the  show. The famous inn is "The Golden Lamb," which seems to have housed everyone famous in the 19th Century as they treked across the country.

Last night, I finished Lewis' book, so I'm ready for something new. Today is a heavy blitz with the Ron Raines concert, and this will make up most of my week. I have no plans beyond working on the concert today or tomorrow.

Welcome back, DR FJL! How was the trip?

TOD:

I hate avant garde plays, movies, and television shows.  I will not watch them.  However, I will enjoy reading about the choices of the friends here at HHW.

Obama is on Long Island near Phoenix?

Good Morning, All.  I'm going to have Sugar for the weekend! Yay!  There are painters scraping and working around the complex, so I have a feeling I will be doing my best to keep Sugar from barking.  She's very well-behaved and only barks at things like the doorbell ringing or someone standing outside the scraping and poundung.    Maybe if i just take her out to meet the guy, she'll lick him to death.  Or maybe I will.....

Nah!  Not I!

Saturday greetings. It's colder in New York than in Fort Atkinson.

I'm about to begin my morning ablutions and then I will be out and about.

I've had my oatmeal and coffee and washed the bowl and the mug and now it's time to wash myself.

If one were into avant-garde and absurdist theatre one would be able to see two, count 'em, two plays of that genre.

There is a new production of Waiting for Godot with Nathan Lane, Bill Irwin, John Glover and John Goodman.

There is also a production of Exit the King with Geoffrey Rush, Susan Sarandon, Lauren Ambrose and Andrea Martin.

I must admit, in spite of the casts, I have little desire to see either production.
