My memory was that I gave the tickets to my sister...neither she nor my niece have any memory of ever seeing the tickets, except at Christmas, when they were given as Christmas presents.  I called a couple of people from work to see if they could get me into our building and fortunately, one co-worker who lives in the same condo complex as I do loaned me her key and explained the security system so that I wouldn't set it of.  I didn't.  Anyway, the tickets were not to be found in my office.  I looked at home very thoroughly, but I couldn't find them.  The show was to start at 1:00 pm, and it was 10:00 am, by this time.  My niece and my sister's boyfriend decided to go to Portland anyway, because my niece is a vegan and they had placed an order for some vegan/vegetarian food and some vegan/vegetarian deli and my niece wanted to go to the vegan mini-mall, again.  My sister and I stayed and looked again through her house, but we couldn't find the tickets anywhere.

CRAP!!!!!!

The Lambs Blu-Ray is a direct port of the last SE DVD and I've seen caps of both and the Blu-Ray is not THAT much better, save for the obvious bump in resolution - same exact HD master for both - and it looks GREAT on regular DVD.

Not having seen the DVD you're referring to, I have no opinion on the matter. I only said that the Blu-ray looked far superior to any version of LAMBS *I* had ever owned, and it does.

I understand what you were saying - the point of my response was to let those who haven't or don't feel like investing in Blu-Ray know that the exact same transfer, looking fantastic, is available on regular DVD.  Just my friendly public service announcement.

They were for the orchestra level, row J, seats 1-4.  GREAT SEATS!  I thought that Larry, my sister's boyfriend had bought the tickets and that they could be reprinted with his original credit card...but he didn't buy the tickets.  My sister got them from a co-worker of hers and she couldn't find that person's phone number.

At one point, I remembered that my sister had given me a copy of the 2-in-1 book of "Wicked" and "Son of a Witch."  I distinctly remember putting the tickets in the shrink-wrap at Christmas and taking them home.  I brought the tickets to work so that they would stay safe with my other season tickets (Olympia's Capital Playhouse and Seattle's 5th Avenue).  Then I have the memory of taking the tickets to my sister's house and my niece taking them, but they don't have that memory.  None of us can find them. :P

A very small consolation is that my niece had talked to Larry (her mom's boyfriend) about asking me where the seats were and she didn't.  That would've made me look for them sooner.  We all could've been looking for them and there could've been time for my sister's co-worker to call the theater and have the tickets reprinted.

So, I alone am not at fault.

My sister told me that part, so she doesn't feel like I totally screwed up on my own. :)

The other small consolation is that while looking for the tickets, I found the papers for my original mortgage, so now I can get my taxes done.  Since I refinanced and paid off the first loan last year, I can deduct the rest of the points that were paid on the first loan.  That will be a nice deduction. :D

And on that note (g-flat), I'm going to watch "Zack and Miri Make a Porno" that I got from Netflix a month ago.  It's about time that I watched it.  Then I'm going to bed.

So, I shall now say good night, all.

"Good night, all."
