DR Ginny, I turned Jose's invitation for TWELFTH NIGHT again!!! because you and Richard were thinking about going. No turning back now, or I shall be really pissed.
!

YIKES!  DR Elmore, if you have another chance in the next 2 weeks, please, please take it, because I'd hate for you to miss Twelfth Night if it rains the whole week we're there or something.

I'd also hate for you to be really pissed at me... :-*

well, last night I was too exhausted to go with him and tonight I opted to wait for you and Richard. I doubt he'll be getting tickets for a third night in a row, but you never know

Rats!  Apparently I'm missing some software or plug-in or something and cannot get the webcast of the fashion show that Mary Linda's in tonight.  Guess I'll watch Inside Daisy Clover after all.

Well, I now must leave work to help my sister work on her old house (even though it's only about five years old).  She actually has someone coming on Sunday to look at it to see if she (this other someone) would like to rent it.  I need to swap out a bathroom sink and replace the kitchen faucet, then go to my sister's new house and do some more stuff over there.

It'll be a long night. :P

I don't know why this post made me think of it, but with my new computer, I should be able to watch Netflix movies instantly on my computer!  I could never do that with my old computer (with Windows 2000 and not enough RAM).  I'll have to check tonight when I get home. :D

I typed out a question three times about Chastity and her partner. I decided to just delete it.

I am tired. Tomorrow my niece's daycare is having a huge garage sale. And they needed donated stuff and baking. i spent 3 1/2 hours baking. And they were so appreciative. It seems like i was the only one that had brought in any baking so far. ouch.

It should be interesting to see what kinds of stuff they are selling.

Then after there is a fun day at the small strip mall near there. They have free pony rides, balloons, face painting and jumping in those big bouncy things they blow up for kids. For some reason my niece will never go on/in the latter even though i know she'd love it.

Bets on if she'll get on a pony! :)

Jennifer I haven't seen ROYAL PAINS yet.  I think it is about a young doctor who treats the rich.  Here is the website for the show: http://www.usanetwork.com/series/royalpains/

An Emergency Room Doctor (good looking bachelor) opts to save a young black patient over attending to a Billionaire hospital beneficiary – and gets fired, and black listed. He joins his (good looking bachelor) brother for a weekend at the Hamptons (super posh NY resort on Long Island) At a posh party the local Medic is screwing up giving emergency care to a guest, and our hero dashes to the rescue. The local Medic is canned and our hero is hired as the “Concierge Doctor”: and he and his brother move into a free beach house. Needless to save all the young lasses throw themselves at the new meat on the beach.

Lots of eye candy for everyone and fun subplots.

How surprising.  I hope you were just early with your donation.  What did you bake?  I always found my extra large oatmeal cookies were a big seller so of course I made those the most.  When the boys were in Middle & High school they said rice crispies treats sold the best.

In today's world of terrorist actions I would substitute "inflate" for "blow up" :)

It was a very crazy week.  I didn't realize that I most likely had the flu and not just a cold until I started getting better.  I'm not at 100% today, but am better.  We also had an extremely busy week at the office, the combination was crazy.  But we got through it.   I topped the week off with a mamogram....Oh Joy.

While having the flu.  I would have postponed it.

I've been thinking all week how grateful I only have a head cold & not the flu.  I'm glad you feel better.

Bake sale favorites:

Chocolate brownies with lots of nuts
Oatmeal cookies with lots of raisins
Carrot cake with lots of icing
Lemon squares - if nice and tart
Hot gingerbread with whipped cream

No, today I'm ok.  There wasn't a problem. I did postpone a couple other things.

I did have a flu shot last fall. It was a mild case, but the fatigue, the muscle aches, the fever etc make me think it was the flu
