Otherwise, I have found only one source citing him as dead - www.tmz.com - and Perez Hilton is not always the go-to guy for real information.

Yes.

My mother was only 62 when she passed away. Not to be morbid, my goal has been to reach 62 cancer free. I kind of feel if I can do that I might be safe from my family curse. To counter all the sad news I read today there is a new drug, still in the research stage, that is very promising for cancers caused by my genetic defect.

And it has few side effects.

The news regarding Michael Jackson spread very quickly. I hope those who loved him didn't have to learn of it on the news. I remember when Rick Nelson died his mother learned of it on the news.
