Good Afternoon!

I'm up, I'm up...  Oh, and I guess it's still "Good Morning" someplace. ;)

It is on the left coast.

I know what bk means about no more bs.   My dad left 25 years of his life neatly packed up in boxes, each one labeled with the year.   I went through everything looking for movie location memorabilia, but found nothing.  I also found nothing to suggest that he had a connection with having a daughter or granddaughter. So all the bs with my father is finally going to be left behind.   I had always suspected he was an out-of-sight out-of-mind person.  Now I know my feeling was true.  The illusion of family needs to be left in the past and I can be free to move forward with the rest of my life.

Onward to being free and happier.

I know you aren't after sympathy, it is what it is. Still, it is sad and best of vibes moving onward.  I know you are already on the road to freedom & happiness.

During the waning minutes of my time in bed this morning, Jonathan Schwartz played "Crazy He Calls Me" sung by Aretha Franklin.  WOWZA!!!!

Did Jonathan Swchartz come back to bed when he was finished?

Vibes of comfort & strength to DR Ginny & family, you are in my heart today.

While I'm at it, vibes for my friend Doug who is waiting the results of a lung biopsy.

No, DR JOSE....Matt just joined the faculty at DePauw but he had spent a lot of time in piano competitions and playing across the country.

Gotcha, DR Jrand.  Will he be helping out with future productions at the Playhouse?

I really need to start renting the first two seasons of Mad Men!

Or you could have watched the "Mad Men" marathons on AMC the past two days. ;)

*I'm trying to decided if I want to watch tomorrow night's season premiere in the comfort of my own living room, or watch it on the big(!) screens down in Times Square tomorrow night.  Hmmm...

It is difficult to admit you've been a chump, and the times I've had to admit it are few and far between, but boy am I the winner of this year's all-time chump award.  It's not at all interesting, other than that at this stage of my life I allowed it to happen and kept allowing it to happen.  As Sammy Davis, Jr. sang in Golden Boy - well, no more.  I have, during my chumpdom, behaved well, never taken the low road (which was and is still VERY tempting), and just tried to be supportive and "there."  I felt that was the right and good thing to do - I was wrong.

bk - Was the game you played "Bananagrams"?

And was playing games really "emotionally exhausting"?

Here's to a less exhausting day today all around.

No, the emotionally exhausting part has to do with the chump post above.

I think it may have been bananagrams.
