I love breakfast at night, too, but I rarely fix it for myself.

So, at midnight,  you'd fall for a "come up to my place and I'll fix an omelet" pickup line ;)

When I got in, I immediately sat down to begin today's work project - THE GIRL NEXT DOOR. It has appealing actors and some good lines and moments of physical comedy, but it became more ridiculous and outrageous the longer it ran, and the mix of comedy styles within the film is so erratic that I felt it could never settle down and be something special. It seemed more a grabbag of comedy ideas and motifs.

So, a mixed review from me.

I also got through all of the bonus features. There were three commentaries (one full one and two other scene specific ones from the stars). And a bunch of fairly unimpressive featurettes connected to the movie.

Thanks DR DAW.  Yes tonight is our opening night.  We shall see what we shall see.

It is most distressing that a huge WII apparatus has been set up in our green room so that those people who have smaller parts and do not know their lines or blocking have another excuse to miss their entrances.....shocking!  I can't sit in their now during the show.  It's too distracting.  I like to be in a quiet place before I go on, so I guess I will sit in the shop....

ANYWAY....yes we open tonight for better or worse.

I had to scratch my head the first time I read DR Jrand's post.  I thought he said "...a huge WWI apparatus .." and I thought, "A tank?  Well, I guess that would be a distraction."

That's exactly what I thought, too.

Hmmmmmmmmmm....marked out....not sure why that happened.

DRGINNY

Must have been the space after DR

You used brackets (with no spaces). [ s ] [ /s ] is the code for strikethrough.

For those of you on Facebook, you may wish to become a "fan" of author Christopher Moore to get his updates - or at least checking out his page.  Which you can do without friending him.

Today's, on art from the Louvre, is most instructive.      :)

I bet she'll never go out with him again!

I also mentioned that "wine" that is not drunk from glasses should be thrown away NOT put back into the decanter and in fact ALL liquids should be fresh every night.  She told me it was too much trouble.

Hmmm, sounds very reminiscent of this evenings rehearsal for The Full Monty - let's just say that we're doing "Let it Go" in costume - and the rehearsal is closed to other cast people besides the guys and certain production staff.
