From Cilla:

I think of all the times Keith or I stood outside of that Whole Foods with Sherlock while the other one shopped.  To think all 3 of us could have gone in ;D  I don't recall Bryan ever mentioning a dog in there & he shopped there on a regular basis.  We never went to the Safeway which opened across from Bryan's condo after he moved.

I do love how Portland is a very dog friendly city.

Back from accompanying DH Richard to our local public library, where he had a book to pick up.  In my browsing I found the OBC recording of Finian's Rainbow on CD and Grand Hotel and Four Weddings and a Funeral on DVD.  I've never seen Grand Hotel and thought I should because BK's always saying, "People come, people go, just like Grand Hotel..."  I have seen Four Weddings... (a long time ago), but one of Richard's seminary profs told us not long ago that he'd been in all the churches, so I want to see it again.  I wasn't paying attention to the churches the first time around.

DR Ginny, I was so mad at myself to discover that I had been in the church in Paris containing "the golden line" from The DaVinci Code, but had neglected to look for it while I was there.

Break a leg, kisses on your opening, and all that good stuff for tonight JRAnd!

Tonight's the opening? Oh, God, I am out to lunch!  It's pathetic when DR MBarnum is more in touch than I am.

Break a leg, DR JRand59!

Opening night break-a-leg vibes to DR JRand and his A&OL pals!

Did your prop manager make potato chip sandwiches for Aunt Martha to carry on a tray?  That's one of my best memories from my high school turn in A&OL!

No!  But what a great idea.  Martha just comes in with coffee cups on a tray.

A production a friend was in in high school had one of the cast members lying naked in the window seat for when Mortimer has to open the window seat and do that great take!!!

Well, that would do it!

For those of you on Facebook, you may wish to become a "fan" of author Christopher Moore to get his updates - or at least checking out his page.  Which you can do without friending him.

Today's, on art from the Louvre, is most instructive.      :)

And very informative!

Nothing pegs my angstmeter like not being able to lay my hands on something I know I just recently had.

That's what my date said last night. :-X

::)

I’m shocked at the hours DR Vixter puts in for soccer practice!  Vibes her muscles adjust to the strain soon & she is up to massaging DR Vixmom’s shoulder.

Thank you DR Jose for posting about Erich Kunzel!

I am utterly "disgusted"!

I have loads of recordings done by Mr Kunzel over the years with different orchestras and they have brightened my life and my ears.

I am going to miss his artistry, as much as I miss the wonderful voice Jerry Hadley.

I'm unpredictable.

I don't think it would have mattered.  They sent it out for cleaning the week you were there....

I was sorry to read about Steve's passing, Cilla, though it was not unexpected.

Please accept my condolences on behalf of his family.

BK, did you get my fax?

I have now officially finished my work on Brent's Christmas album.  Tomorrow at 11am I have my first meeting with the mighty Rob Berman on FINIAN'S RAINBOW.

Thanks again for the additional condolences.  They are having 2 services on Monday. Not sure why there are 2 - one at 2:00 Pm and one at 7:00 PM.  anyway, it means I won't be coming back to SC until Tuesday.  I had to rearrange a few things, but it wasn't too difficult to do.

Callie is feeling much better.  I think it was something she ate.   The canned food hasn't been agreeing with her, so i think we'll stuck to the dry while I'm gone.  That's what they both like the best anyway.

It poured all night.  I have a slate roof so even rain sounds very loud.  It was actually a one day record for Sioux city
