Hello, George!
I do no wish to be encumbered
Like this, George,
With shit, George!
Your tools, George,
They're laying on the floor
And all this clutter
And my book shelves, George!
They've laid there all in vain--
Around them I must strut.
But thank you for the pain
That's building in my butt.
Yes, thank you, George, you coot...
Now, where's my suit...

We're at the local university campus for this certification exam and during the recent class change, a student asked me if I was being punished ('cause I'm sitting in the hall).  Actually, it's the people inside the room answering 150 multiple choice questions who are being punished!

The plywood plates to hold the bookcases are bolted into the wall! George is off to get some screws and washers to attached the bookcases to the plates and it's accomplished! After that, he has some minor work to do, like raise the feet of one bookcase a couple of inches off the floor to take the press off the crucial plate, and straighten out a shelf that's bent bent by the weight.

Who says HHW vibes don't work?

Well, I don't think he's going to be finished before 5, and I do hope he finishes up today. I would like to vacuum everything as soon as the work is cleared out and before I start putting things back on shelves. I've also got some rethinking about the music and books. Hmmmm . . .

And 24 hours from now, I should be somewhere in the City of Brotherly Love, a.k.a. Philadelphia, PA.  Or as Bloody Mary would put it: Philadellia.  -I think. ??? In any case...

I had tried to head to Philly for the day a couple of weeks ago, but the weather and other things just got in the way.  However, it's supposed to be a nice weekend, and since I have a few friends I haven't seen in a while, well...

Tape transfer guy is in the Valley, so he'll save me a trip and come pick up the tapes from here.  Then I'll go find something amusing to eat.

Although now I'll probably have to wait until after two, as Jerry's will be too too crowded.

Today was best friend John's birthday, so we had a nice lunch and gift unwrapping. A very enjoyable way to start the afternoon.

When I got back in I watched more MY NAME IS EARL (I watched four episodes before I went to lunch). Lots of guest stars. My favorite was Betty White who played a local lady who everyone in Camden thought was a witch.
