Spoo! I didn't read all of Wahid's e-mail.

I believe that's why he doesn't email you.

Car is washed and looking better.  I shall now jog, and then shave and shower and then I shall be washed and looking better.

Wow--I don't think it ever occurred to me before that DR Elmore and Frances Farmer were both born on the same day.  If that doesn't prove astrology, nothing will.

The pastor's wife / nurse / kitten saver just left. She thinks the littlest one will be ok without fluids until we see the vet (hopefully) on Monday. It's getting harder to put it in since he's not so dehydrated any more.

Back from the long jog - it's been at least a week since I've done the long jog and it wasn't that easy.

And you will not believe what I saw upon my return because my jaw practically hit the sidewalk.  After months and months of enduring these oafs next door, the house is almost finished - probably a couple weeks away.  And now we know why the owners never came to say hello and apologize and why they never will - why?  Because they just put a FOR SALE sign up.  That's right - it was built by a construction company for an investor (I'm guessing the property fell into some sort of foreclosure after the owners died, and that some asshole company got it cheap).  I'm sure the price tag will be over a million dollars and I hope these buttwipes have to sit on it unsold for a year or more.

Wow, BK. I hope it sits unsold, too. It should be nice and quiet that way.

That's pretty much what has happened next door to me.  The developer started with his bigger house at almost 1 million, and the "smaller" house at about 750K, and through the months, brought them down bit by bit.  I'm pretty sure the smaller one has just sold with a listing price of 499K (which I assume means it sold for well under that), and the bigger one is now at 599K.  Of course the shrieking neighbor who has fits of pique every time the houses are shown probably hasn't helped the sales prices, LOL.  ;)

BK, I also have a lovely MP3 I created of a beeping truck backing up whilst a high soprano screams repeatedly.  I've found that has a chilling effect on realtors and their clients.  Let me know if you'd like a copy.  :)

I'm at the Starbucks across the street from The Walnut Street Theatre where I will be attending the matinee of DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS. And then I shall head back to NYC after the show. It's been a great visit, and I will certainly have to make a return trip or two.

Until after the show...

Along with it being DR Elmore's birthday today (Happy Birthday again!), it's also Adam West's birthday.  He's 81 years old.  AND it's also James Lipton's birthday.  What I didn't know is that he's 83 years old!  I had no idea!

And now, I have to get ready to go to work...and then actually go to work.  This is the cut-off to get all our monthly bills paid.  I still have some invoices to deal with and they must be dealt with by 5:00 pm tonight (when our building closes)!  So, I'm off to work.

Have a good day, all!

Skypeing with the Blu-ray staff is fun and funny--they're all over the world and we always spend the first several minutes trying to figure out who's actually online.  :)

And the word of the day is: ALACRITY!

At last!  A word of the day that I actually know the meaning.  And I have used the word in real life and on stage.  It is in one of my lines in SLEUTH.

A VERY Happy Birthday to dearest DR Elmore!!!
I wish I could send the handyman over but he's busy at my house for the foreseeable future!

Thank you, DRs Matt H, Laura, and Ginny. It looks as though the handyman could straightened out my bookcases, DR MattH, but the moment has past. Perhaps when your commerce with him is over, he can haul ashes for DR MBarnum!

And DR elmore, if that guy was your handyman, you can be sure that MBarnum would haul ash to New York!

And on a clear day can you see forever?
