I started another NCIS episode, the one about a serial killer promising Gibbs that he's lead them to a dumping ground for many bodies that were previously unfound. I got about halfway through before turning it off and heading upstairs. I'll finish it tomorrow, likely while I'm cooking lunch. I plan to watch MONK while I eat lunch.

In addition to MISERY tomorrow, I must rewatch ICE AGE 2 on Blu-ray. I'll be getting the third film in the series to review on Blu-ray in a few weeks, but I don't remember ANYTHING about the movie series at all, so I need to rewatch the last one to refresh my memory.

It was one of the first Blu-rays I bought.

I decided to go ahead and walk up from 34th Street to 59th Street/Columbus Circle after sitting on the bus for two hours. -What a gorgeous night in NYC!

On the subway ride from Columbus Circle to 145th Street, not only was I entertained by a group of "subway tumblers/acrobats", but there was also this gentleman playing harmonica on the D Train.  From what I could tell, he was just playing for himself.  He wasn't playing out, loud, and he didn't have a hat or box out to collect money. However, he played very well, and was giving some familiar tunes a Cajun swing treatment.  "Que Sera Sera" in 4/4 really got my toes a-tappin'.

We finally got some rain around 6:30, and I was pleased and delighted that there were no leaks on the back porch at all. So that little matter seems to be settled. Now it just needs a general clean up and a fresh layer of paint.

bk - As for your iPhone problem, just hold down the Home button at the... Oh, nevermind... ;)  However....

There have been lots of interesting "bugs" popping up over the past few weeks.  Apparently, the latest software update (3.1) couple with AT&T's ever-strained 3G data network have been making iPhone do certain things - like not turning on at all, or just going to a black screen (but still on).  In fact, there are still a couple of network issues here in NYC - and in Philly. Of course, AT&T - nor Apple - has made any official announcement about said problems, but if you check out the various Mac forums, you'll find plenty to read.

bk - FYI: The production of Dirty Rotten Scoundrels I saw earlier today at the Walnut Street Theatre not only starred Paul Schoeffler as Lawrence, but also your personal favorite, Jessica Rush, as Christine.

Did a very nice interview this morning with actor Bill Cord star of SHE GOD'S OF SHARK REEF (1958) (seen here dancing with another of my interviewees, Lisa Montell)

......

Back from the Lernerville Raceway where Joe Nichols sang, and sang, and sang some more.  He also played his guitar and looked fabulous.  It was mentioned that he will be gracing Broadway next year (in PURE COUNTRY) as well as having a new cd out on October 29 (which became a running gag).
I have some very lovely photos from the occasion, but, I have spent the last 7 hours in the great outdoors. . .and I'm gonna need to take a Benedryl and hit the sack soon.

Exactly.  It also occurs to me, DAW, that you could be the first to post an amazon review - in fact, I'd love it if you did that sooner than later.

BK did you get my order for the book back when you first announced it?  I was charged for it on my credit card, but I haven'tseen the book yet

For those American Idol watchers, I know you're out there, Bucky Covington was Joe Nichols' opening act.

Cilla I did get your order, of course.  You haven't seen the book because I was waiting for the gift that goes with it to arrive, which it finally did yesterday.  All books were shipped out today.  However, I clearly asked everyone here what the consensus was - to send books out three weeks ago and then send the gift separately, or to just wait - the overwhelming consensus was to wait, which is what I did.

Back from a really charming evening with a charming Charmy.  We ate at Hugo's and it was all terrific and we had some wonderful conversation and I think she had a good time and I know I did.

Topic of the Day:  Yes. ;D

We never had a regular dessert, just every once in a while, my mom would make something.  But it was never something "fancy."  We all like our desserts simple and tasty.

Back from the signing, which was really fun.  I think it was the most people I've ever had - about twenty-three, and I read the entire first chapter (which is about all you can read without giving away too much).  We had yummilicious cake, sold a nice number of books (including some of the older ones), and it was grand fun.  We only had one no show and that was because of illness.

Nice!  Glad it went well and was a success!
