It is very strange, I contributed some money to a certain un-named sitting U.S. President; and since then I have started receiving at least three or four e-mails from the man a week (well, they are signed by him).  Now, if he is gets to call me Thomas; why should I have to continue to call him Mr. President?

Thanks DRS for all the fire free vibes.  They seem to be working.  The news has reported the fire is almost contained & they hope to have it completely contained within the hour.  I pray they are right!

In the past couple of hours I have watched Oprah's Salute to the '60s (with the Chicago Jersey Boys), prepared/eaten a lovely salmon & corn-on-the-cob dinner for/with my family, booked airline reservations to NYC for Richard and me, and ordered discounted aisle seats for The Royal Family.

I think the kittens are out of the woods for now. Now they have red eyes, so they will see the shelter vet tomorrow.

I had a turkey sandwich (small) and a piece of pie.  Just what the doctor ordered.  Also, the plumber ordered it.  Why these people can't go their own way is anyone's guess.

My mom is getting ready to watch her favorite show...Dancing With the Stars.  She watches from her recliner and takes notes.  She just told me she has to hang up the phone so she can go pick out her seat....lol... I'm sure there's a line of people in her tv room waiting to get her recliner

Callie is doing great tonight.  I think we made it through this episode.  Now, I'm going to have my cat sitter come over so I can teach her how to use an eyedropper so Callie doesnt' go without meds when I'm gone.   There's just too much in the bottle when I come home, she's had problems with the eyedropper in the past.   sheesh!

I gave the naming rights to the pastor's wife, Karen, since her giving the fluids is what saved them. She is taking this task very seriously.

Cillaliz, I use a needle-less syringe to give meds. I can just squirt it in. I think it is easier than an eyedropper.

Just on the amc website - all episodes are being repeated, most of them next Sunday, so I've got them all set to record - I should finish season two tonight or tomorrow, and then I'll be all ready for the marathon viewing of the first seven episodes, and then I'll be all set to record from that point on.
