NCIS: LA was an OK crime drama. I guessed pretty easily who was behind the kidnapping, but the cast is attractive (the show seems a little overloaded with cast members, I thought) though I did like all three guys in the MTAC room. Chris and LL had an easy camaraderie, too, which will help make the series work. Overall, a fine premiere episode.

Tomorrow I'll watch COMMUNITY from On Demand while I eat lunch to see if I want to continue watching it.

Jane, I was wondering when someone would mention the dedication :)

At least three DRs did yesterday.

I missed it?  I must have been tired.  What pages were they on?

Wondering whether I should eat anything else today?  Just had the bacon, eggs, and toast at noon.

DR Jose,
The Facebook thing is very difficult to balance.  I understand not wanting bad news out so freely, but it was a god send when my nephew was having his heart surgery, both for those of us following the progress of the surgery and for Jon who was in the waiting room and was able to have the support of those of us who couldn't be there

I think the issue is more how many friends you have.  I have one friend who has one Facebook account with a lot of friends and another limited to close people who you would share that sort of news with.

Gretchen and Steve used Caringbridge.com.  I'm not sure if it's just for cancer patients, but the people I know who have used it were.  It's a blog with a guestbook etc.  You can subscribe for updates. That was where they announced the news about Steve.  It does allow posting once and notifying friends and relatives all at once

BK I received my book and sparkling prize today and the first thing I noticed was the dedication.  It made me smile

DR Jennifer,

I never really know what I think the first couple weeks of DWTS.  I agree on the bottom three from last night.  I love Macy Gray, but she should go home.

DR Elmore - are we allowed to ask what the plywood is for?

Some of the bookshelves need support because of the weight of the books.

You need smaller books.
