BK the Hoffstetter book has arrived!!

I believe it took a detour to one of my neighbors' homes - our replacement mailman is not very reliable- all of us in the neighborhood have been getting each other's mail  - hopefully the regular guy will be back soon

I was trying to get some photos today. They are still quite young, so it is hard to get them to look at the camera.

I, too, enjoyed tonight's Glee, but I have lots of problems with most of the material they have the high school kids singing.  The song that Kristin performed with the choir had lyrics that I found unsuitable for a school performance.  And, if they're doing the stage version of Cabaret, why were they singing "Maybe This Time"?  I only remember it from the movie.

DR Ginny - Apparently, the school that the "Gleeks" are attending is very progressive. ;)  -Although, the song choices do reflect what is "out there", and what the kids are singing today.  -There are even choral arrangements of Beyoncé's "Single Ladies Dance" available.

As for "Maybe This Time" - it was incorporated into the Donmar/Roundabout revival, and is commonly interpolated into the stage version nowadays. -As is "The Money Song" and "Mein Herr".

DR Ginny - And I believe the "Glee" high school, William McKinley High School, is located in Lima, Ohio.

OK, guess I'm just an old fogey.

Ah, now I get it.  Not sure I'd like those movie songs in the stage version.  More fogey-ness.

Yes, I keep hearing those references, too.  Makes me wonder even more about the material.

No, we don't want the answer to that.

However, I just fed them and then dangled the feather wand in front of little Michael. It is my opinion that he followed the movement of the wand. So I know he has some vision. We just have to wait and hope.
