Lots of rain here today, so hey New York it's headed your way.

Maybe someone in the audience last night was contagious, DR JOSE.

I'm up only because the phone rang at eight-thirty - the author of the long musical who keeps calling earlier and earlier because I will not pick up the phone before ten.  Today we will discuss no phone calls before ten unless it's an emergency.

Now I want to watch all of the old MUMMY movies.

I've never seen any of them.  I suppose I should remedy that.

Did you find your envelope, DR elmore3003?

Indeed I did! It had fallen behind the seat in which I had set my bag. I put the invoice into the envelope I had brought with me and dropped it off at the management office.

DR JRand - Thanks for the heads up.

-And maybe someone was contagious.  Although, since my lower back went out last night too, well... I just hope my current maladies aren't all related.

I think you need to invest in "fall-proof" envelopes.  ;)

Ah... Steve Martin and The Steep Canyon Rangers just played on "The View".  -I'm always amazed at just how close bluegrass musicians stand next to each other - without bumping into each other's arms and instruments.  True "close harmony", I guess. ;)  And it was nice to hear a different song than the one they played on "Letterman" last night.

No. I just need to ascertain I have everything when I pack up and go. Now it's time to head back to Times Square.

I could have sworn the BD of Willy Wonka was supposed to street today, but I just checked and now it's 10/20.  Hmmm.....

The extreme hot weather ended a few days ago and I've actually had to use the heat a couple of times.

I originally thought the Cry For Us All CDs would be here tomorrow morning, but it's Thursday morning.  Still, about three weeks early.

Steve Martin is building a house in NC close to where my brother lives. He's hoping to work on it but they may be all crewed up. Apparently he wanted to have a house near the Rangers, who are based out of Asheville, I believe. I hope he gets to work on Steves' house!
