Good Morning! Good Afternoon!

I'm up, I'm up... And I'm just taking an hour for myself right now before I have to start getting ready for my trip down to VA in a few hours. -And, yes, of course, I slept in this morning.  However, the addition of "Wait, Wait.. Don't Tell Me" to the Saturday morning line-up on WNYC made my last hour in bed quite laugh-filled.

We're off to see the matinee of LORENZO at NYMF at 1.  It's the musical about the librettist of so many of Mozart's operas.


Thank you so much for the anniversary wishes.  individual thanks will follow between LORENZO and LORD OF THE RINGS, and yes indeed some assorted tax returns, but this is such a warm and giving place both in times of happiness and times of adversity.

Actually, librettist of three Mozart operas: DON GIOVANNI, COSI FAN TUTTE, and LE NOZZE DI FIGARO, Lorenzo da Ponte ended up migrating to America. I believe he died in Philadelphia. He was also a good friend of Casanova.

Thank You, DR elmore.  It will definitely be a quick trip - I'll basically be down there for just 24 hours.  However, I'm also planning on attending my college piano teacher's annual faculty recital. -I haven't seen nor heard her in years!  I'll probably cry as soon as she steps onto the stage.  And it looks like I'll be heading down next weekend too since a friend of mine is playing with the Richmond Symphony in the newly remodeled and renovated Carpenter Center.

RAIN is probably the ultimate Beattles tribute band.  They have been around for probably twenty years or more.  They do all the different eras of The Beatles from the beginning through the Sgt. Pepper era and Abbey Road.  With all the lights and sound, they are pretty incredible.
